It's not difficult to understand why many people suffer from PTSD after their experiences. The vulnerability factor inter locked with sheer terror; these emotive currents then heightened by the duration of time involved: would be (to anyone) traumatizing, period. Thank you so much, Fred, for relating/sharing Collins experience 🙏👍

I think they call what the foreman saw as a bear "cognitive dissonance". His mind just couldn't accept what he was seeing. Then I think of all the people out here that would give their eye teeth to see a Hairy Man as close as Colin did, but be careful what you wish for! Thank you Fred for the great story telling and
    Colin for bravely coming forward.

My father in law ran over and stopped his mustang on top of what he called a bear. He got out and watched it shrug the vehicle off and run off into the woods. My opinion= no freaking way was That a bear.

Thanks Fred & Colin for sharing the experience. The uncontrollable shaking is NO joke. When you experience a meeting with one of them or the other things out there.......no matter how hard you try...you can NOT stop yourself from shaking. From me ghost hunting days to when i was shot at to when the cop had his gun in the nape of my neck....telling me if i twitch a muscle he was going to blow me brains out......nothing, just another Tuesday. When one of these things becomes a REALITY to you......i shook uncontrollably for close to an hour or more. Thanks again to Colin for sharing and i do not blame you for not wanting to go back to Alaska. I am just now starting to go back into the woods and my experience happened in 2015.

Been in the 50's at night here in Kentucky but pretty nice during the day. Yell , it's a good thing Colon didn't run the loader dry or they would've been there a while trying to get it going. I'm surprised that the hairy-man didn't tear up more stuff because of what they were doing. Wouldn't have wanted to be Colon sitting in that loader eye to eye with that thing. I guess it was a good thing it was enclosed. Heck of a story Fred. Keep up the good work please. People need to know about these thing's.

Hi Fred, Thank You Collin for sharing your story with Fred. I can’t imagine how horrific that would be. Your by yourself facing against a Hairy Man. I know the Cabs on those Loaders are pretty high up. So if you were on your knees in the Seat Eye to Eye with it, it had to have been 9-10’ Tall. Maybe more than that! I’m not sure you were actually safe on the Vertical Fuel Tank. I bet a lot of the Workers didn’t come back the next Season. Fred I don’t know how you can sit out there in the Wild and tell one of these Stories without getting yourself uneasy. I think I would wait until I was Home or sitting in the Truck somewhere you know it’s Safe. Great relaying of the Story Fred. I don’t know how you do it, but you put me there almost like it’s happening to me or I’m watching it all happen right next to Collin. I’m glad Collin and the rest of them got out of there Safe. Thanks Fred for another Great Story, I was on the edge of my Seat for this one.👍👍😁
