MUJIUCHEN was founded in 2012, originating from Jiangsu, China. This original design brand focuses on the creation and production of guzhengs that combine traditional Chinese elements with the Tang Dynasty's unique wood carving techniques.
Craftsmanship and Materials
Mu Jiuchen uses two primary categories of wood for their guzhengs:
1. **Deep Mountain Paulownia**: Selected as the preferred material, this wood undergoes natural air-drying and storage until its properties stabilize, forming the main body of the guzheng.
2. **Rare Wood Species**: Includes intricately patterned woods such as rosewood, red sandalwood, and ebony. These are sliced and used as decorative veneers attached to the zither's exterior, creating stunning decorative surfaces.

- **Resonance**: The deep mountain paulownia provides excellent resonance, giving the guzheng a rich, clean, and textured sound.
