Have you ever made processing comes for bantams? If not, what do you think would be a good guesstimate for the flashing length? I thought maybe a few inches smaller since you have to roll it together but I figured maybe I’d ask and see if you have any good ideas before we try 😂 Your videos are really helpful, thanks for sharing with everyone! Can’t wait to try the bug repellent!
My birds will be from 7 - 10 lbs. Will the birds fit this cone? Please reply and I thank you. This is much easier than the previous video I watched. Slick.
People are going to be asshurt that you are using killing cones and shit but hey you're raising your own chickens and turning them into meat and feeding you and whom ever else unless your doing something entirely different.
This one works perfect at 30"x10" - NOT 30"x14" ,,,, that's a different, more difficult cone-making style. Try this one, you'll not be sorry! I tried it with 14" - fought it for 20 minutes and the bottom hole (where the head goes down) was about 1" - tried 12" and fought it some more (another 15-20 minutes wasted) and still only ended up with a 2" hole at the bottom. After I cut the 10" width, it only took about 10-15 minutes to make each one. Two rivets, bend over the top, drill a 3/8" hole and you're done! Great cone, and I made it out of aluminum siding trim for camp trailers - this'll last forever! Thanks for the great video FarmLifeNC.
Perfect cone! Was exactly what I had in mind, but great to see it already done.

Do you still make these or did you buy them for your processing shop?
How much bigger would you make it for a goose or a duck? Just stick to the same size and add a second row a little wider than shoulder width?
Thanks for a great video. Are the edges sharp?

This was a perfect video except you didn't say how wide that flashing is.
Aluminum flashing isn't strong enough to make these from it tears easy like paper. Use the steel flashing to make these much better. Imo
Would you make a video processing the chickens?
Search kari kadai
I hope you are still monitoring this video. You said your width is 30 inches. How tall is your flashing?
The flashing in this video was 16” tall
@@FarmLifeNC it didn't look that tall. Someone commented ten inches, which looks about right. I prefer your design over the other one
Better than letting them run around bleeding on everything!
