This was a dope documentary. He's going to be a star. He's a great kid, very humble. Glad he wants to make it and have his own legacy. I have a lot of respect for Carmelo, he's a great father and mentor to these kids.
I love this. Not all stories have victories, and this one shows the resiliency of Kiyan and his friends playing in those tournaments. Chello must be a proud father, grooming, training and providing all the tools for his son that he unfortunately did not get when he was his age. I will be following this kid on his journey and hopefully he wears the Syracuse and Knicks jersey one day. #staymelo
@@SaintFrenchyMelo will always be one of the greatest scorers in NBA history. There’s a reason he’s top 75 all time and top 10 in scoring. Very few players are better at scoring than melo, ever.
You can really see the difference when an NBA player is retired vs active player. Retired dads can invest their all into their sons to develop them. It’s more about the kids vs. themselves. The let their sons shine.
Kiyan, your filled with soooo much motivation and you always have such a positive outlook on everything. Even when its something not benefiting you or a situation like losing a b-ball game, you still seem to have a positive mindframe and it shows CRYSTAL CLEAR when you speak. Your future is going to be so bright!!! You give me hope and you are an inspiration to so many!! I'm so proud of you. Keep up the amazing work. Your patience kindness and love for everything you do in life will get you exactly what you want .... just keep doing what you doing. You truly are one in a million! Sending love and lots of luck your way. we love you KIYAN
I watched every episode, as soon as it came out. If the original “Melo” had social media back in 2000, he’d be even more legendary! Put some respect on his family’s name!
Good video OT. KY a beast reminds me a lot like his dad jus give him some time. That's what's wrong with people he's still growing I guarantee he gonna be a dawg 💯💪
That between the leg hang dribble pull up that has been Carmelo’s calling card since Syracuse , looks completely identical when Kiyan brought it out on his homie 1 v 1 … youngn watched & learned well
Yeah, they not from the hood like they daddy's that's for damn sure ahaha lol. That's their personal challenge being wealthy & privileged which Is to find that drive, HUNGER, & passion bkz they don't have an inherent reason to feel that type of urgency to become a successful (in this case) professional athlete, NBA Basketball star/player When you already have all the finest things In life what's the incentive to work hard you feel me? Just like poor kids from the hood have that HUNGER built In naturally bkz they know If they don't make It them, & their family will be stuck in poverty in the hood. So there is no quiting, giving up, or failing with that kind of opportunity at stake for most urban raised kids. Kids like Kiyan, Bryce, Bronny have all the money & resources they could ever need them some, so they don't have that BUILT IN drive & determination to fight through when things get tough I'll give you a great example of that type of scenario with SHAREEF O'NEAL, Shaq's Son. Very talented, physically blessed etc, but don't realize the level of WORK, dedication, commitment & sacrifice that It takes to be successful & or great as an NBA player like his father. They just don't have a clue how It feels to have no other choice but fight to make it to the top. It's to easy, ready set made, & comfortable. So the focus on the WORK ETHIC is paramount for privileged kids generally speaking. Especially famous NBA players kids bkz there's only 400 open player positional Jobs in the entire league. So not every can make it. Just not enough Jobs & way to many talented players looking for employment
No cap Kiyan has a very good future ahead he has the talent and just needs to keep improving, listen to his dad and put in the work as we all know when talent meets hard work? Success is imminent because it's just a matter time when that opportunity comes knocking on ur door and all u have to do is put everything together and represent the best version of you.
Coach gotta put Kiyan at PF so he can rebound offense & defense 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ yellin at them ain’t gone get the job done, can’t none of them players do nothing with Kiyan
I like the way Carmelo and LALA IS raising him great ball player very smart intelligent keep up the good work it will pay off and keep God first to keep balance
First and foremost Health and wealth to Overtime, Kiyan, Mel, and all the fam, those in the comment section, and those coming... Kiyan you a great person, your parents are awesome, your pops to me, always been my dude, rocked his sneakers: the Melo, absolute fyahh the best feet friendly basketball sneakers.. to me.. much success to you and family Kiyann.. I am rooting for you and your team mates for ever.. ,
Kiyan's biggest challenge is going to be his passive disposition... He's talented but you can see he's passive and with that type of disposition you can easily get lost in a game
Hear me out now… Dad is black and Puerto Rican, Mom Puerto Rican, and she grew up in NYC? Now he’s living up to his parents expectations but it’s complicated? This is the real life Miles Morales
Y'all have to play zone coach you don't have the size or athlete's to guard 1 on 1 and and expect them to have energy for offense. You have to play zone and make the beat you bye the 3
Yo dude has “REASONS” for every damn loss?? None of them ever have anything to do with playing ass or just getting outhustled or straight up quitting when they down. It ain’t the jet lag or early morning games or any of that noise. The team is the answer. They all need to do better and stop complaining about everything that ain’t going right. They put you all in a HS gym after the first 3 losses!!!! That alone should have had all of you out there ready to tear shit up!! There is only a fire under them when they winning and balling out. Pops need to teach them how to reach down deep for that extra fire!!
Record the shots just keeping the Camera on they face it’s a episode not watch there form and the cameraman there for Lala more than recording the episode for kiyan😂
I hate to say that they’re trash. They have potential to be better. Two of the main things I seen amongst team Melo is that they don’t play as a team and they don’t play aggressively. They play too soft and too individually in my opinion. Other than that, love to watch them play virtually. And again, they have the potential. 🦅
No pressure No diamonds...these pro athletes kids don't play at the same level as their fathers because there's no pressure [ e.g. broke, living in the hood, longing for a better life, etc..].. they low key soft as hell..
Idk how it make sense u live in NYC and play for next team in Baltimore and u just met some of the new members on the team and think u go have connection nope u need more time to practice with each other and get to know ur team mate everyone is basically show boating they all talented asf but need more time to be a teammate and be as one it’s seem like every man for them self and it’s sucks they loose a lot of games than win but it’s help u be stronger on the court
He’s a good kid that’s the most important thing. He doesn’t seem Like he feels entitled instead thankful of who his parents are
great kid

This is how to raise a child. He seems humble, smart, n calculating. Love this. Seeing Melo give his kid everything is special.
I'm a fan of Carmelo Anthony & Lala. Glad they are co-parenting Kiyan Anthony. He has the right head on his shoulders.
Facts! That’s the best thing about this. They both showing love together and they both raising a good man!

Kiyan is a good kid, humble, and very passionate about basketball. I wish him the best.
People call Melo selfish but this is being selfless teaching his son everything he knows 🙏🏿
As long as he doesn't teach him to be an ISO pull up shooter and nothing else.....but I'm sure he'll also teach him what not to do.
@@RMSNOMORLIMAI mean Melo at some point in time was regarded as a great jump shooter. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he did

I respect both Carmelo and LaLa. The mutual respect that they have for one another. But it's just unfortunate because they're such a beautiful couple
Its life! Its more important there all happy! Instead of together fightning and miserable
I love this kid. Melo and LaLa are doing a great job with him.

I fucks with Kiyan he a solid young player eager to learn and make his game better on top of a cool kid not spoiled or entitled he’s a worker like
The fact that his parents are divorced and they are still maintaining a great relationship to raise Kiyan is amazing.
This was great.
