July 2020. New scriber from Houston. Good job. I worked at Depot 23 yrs and they might be able to order that white Portland. Check at the Service desk. It’ll just come with their regular shipment. Maybe, worth checking. I’m just starting hyper but such fun. But I gotta stay out of resale shops cause constantly buying things for moulds......yikes. Had to put up shelves in my shed to hold all the stuff I’ve bought to try. Stay safe and be kind.

DOG HAIR DONT CARE Lindaniel, thank you! Very cute dog you have there! ❤️ Good to know about the white Portland cement. I get a lot of my molds from the dollar store, and, of course, empty pots from plants you might have bought work well. You can even use a card board box. To do that, just add some duct tape for extra support and line it with plastic prior to filling. You can also use the box from the outside...turn it upside down, cover in plastic and slap that tufa all over it. 😂 You get more of a rougher texture, but you can also use Saran Wrap to smooth it some for a final step after you have it built up.

Kelli Hume-Ostermeyer, ideally, this is a better project for when outside temps range from 50-60 degrees Celsius. Then, you can keep them outside in shade and not have to truck them in the house.
