Topaz Studio 2 is fantastic software. Topaz should listen and update that program. Also, Topaz Mask AI was a program that was getting better with the updates and Topaz also stopped updating it. If you have Photo AI, Studio 2, Mask AI and Gigapixel AI, you don't need anything else.

Definitely bring it back. I started using Studio2 with great results but stopped because I didn't trust creating a creative workflow with a program that I didn't trust would be supported in the future. And that's what happened.
Love my Studio 2. Thanks for the video and the notes. I'm still undecided about updating my Photo AI license.

Dave Topaz is the best I love all Topaz products but I still love Topaz Studio 2. But I am worried that it won't update please please keep it and update it
Does Topaz Studio 2 still run as a stand alone program? I got a new laptop (PC) and haven’t tried to re-install it. I sure miss the old Topaz artistic filters. I use Photoshop CC.

Hello, is there a way to run TOPAZ Studio 2 in the latest Photoshop version? Currently I always start PS 2021 because it runs there. But that is annoying.

Yes, I am using the latest version of Photoshop 2024.
Do you have an Apple Silicon system? If you have and run latest Photoshop it is a native application and cannot run plugins that have not been updated to run native on Apple Silicon, and Topaz Studio hasn't been updated. I suspect that PS 2021 is also Intel only and so automatically uses the Rosetta system that allows Intel applications to run on Apple Silicon systems, and in this situation it can run Topaz Studio. If you force latest version of Photoshop to run using Rosetta then you will then be able to run Topaz Studio 2, but then lose some of the benefits of running Photoshop in native mode on an Apple Silicon system. Dave still has an Intel iMac, so that is why he can run Topaz as a filter on latest Photoshop.
If you have access to a recent version of On1's PhotoRAW or Effects then even if this is running native on an Apple Silicon system it can use Intel only filters/plugins, so there is a way to run latest Photoshop without Rosetta and use Topaz Studio 2 - use PhotoRAW or Effects as Photoshop Filter and then just call Topaz Studio as a plugin from that, need to do double returns to get back to Photoshop but end up with Topaz Studio layer that is the same as being able to call Topaz Studio directly.

Topaz lost their creativity when they joined the AI photography fad. The old artistic plugins are sorely missed. They would be wise to revive them and fill the niche that is so neglected these days.
