Really he was in all 4. The only game he won that ended with both starting QBs on the field trying to win is the ravens game.

Last year made me so nervous that I have no nervous left. They have the talent at multiple levels and the coaches that can bring the most out of that talent. If anything, that's what I'm most proud of with this team. Whatever comes, they can compete. And if the worst doesn't happen and everyone can stay healthy? They can still compete. The Browns have become more than the sum of their parts, and that's very exciting for the future

I'm worried that I'm not worried about the run game. I believe with just two factors (1. Oline healthy & 2. Higher quality passing options) in play, the Browns get 4.5 to 5.5 a carry on the season, which is an outstanding 1550 to 1750 averaging 20 carries per game. I think this happens because we are ahead in 3rd and 4th quarters and playing a run-heavy scheme in most late game scenarios.
I feel you on Jed and the overall durability at left tackle. They may need another guy at some point this year.

😅😅 Q, you are not far off on the emotions of all camps on Watson. As a diehard DW4 fan, I'm not nervous about his health, but I am nervous about his rhythm in getting back to his best form, as quickly as possible. To expect 2020 form as EVERYONE expects, is ridiculous, as no one in the history of mankind is the same person they were 4 years ago. I expect a healthy DW4 will carry the Browns deep into playoffs.

Totally agree, I think with this new system and new Wr’s he plays better. I think the Baltimore game showed him he doesn’t have to play hero ball. Trust the defense and play your game. Trust the team

@@bryanbring5058 Yes, and Watson said as much on his QB podcast. That he believes that at times those small chunk plays is what helped him succeed in that game.

Jed wills issues I truly believe stem from him playing out of position. He has to think too much on every play, rather than it just coming to him naturally. I bet if he switched to RT he would be a ton better when it comes to getting beat inside.

I am a Browns fan I want to win. Not worried about Deshaun he is where he needs to be in the rehab process his words. Maybe move Jed back to right tackle and try Dewan at left. Jed was a top ten pick because of his play at right tackle. My biggest fear is one of the greatest running backs has his career cut short I hope Chubb bounces back goes for 2,000 rushing yards and wins a super bowl MVP. I just don't want to his career to end at the hands of the Steelers. He was Jim Brown's pick he is something special to all Browns fans.

  • @Mr.McFlyyy
    @Mr.McFlyyy Місяць тому +1

I'll be honest and say I'm more worried about Nick Chubbs ability to bounce back to form, than Watson's ability to play at a high level. Am I worried about Watson's ability to stay healthy? Sure, however injuries happen, and they're not really the players fault. One of the things that makes Chubb who he is is ability to cut. The injury to his knee will directly affect that ability. So my question is even if Chubb does come back and play this season, will he be 100%

Deshaun watson ranking 38th in qbr since becoming a brown 2 years ago is what makes me nervous. I was against this trade from the moment i saw what we gave up for him. And so far after two years it feels good to be right. He threw 7 tds and had 6 turnovers last year, he ranked 25th or lower in passer rating and pff grade too. Hes only completed 59% of his passes since becoming a brown. Its safe to say he has been awful from a individual statistic point of view. But i dont feel nervous that he "might" play good in the future... thats what he was supposed to do when we gave up those 3 first round picks 2 years ago. Hes suppose to be a good qb.

I want DW to succeed simply because I am a Browns fan and he's our quarterback. I happen to believe this is the year we will see him return to form or close to it.
We have so many excellent pieces in place and we are poised to go deep into the postseason IF we get better than average QB play from DW.
He doesn't need to be great, just good when it counts--3rd downs and in the red zone. We need him to play smart, protect himself and the ball.

I think we should be more nervous about the defense as a whole. A dominant defense is much more inconsistent year to year than a dominant offense and while I don't expect this defense to be top 2, top 10 is probably more fair to expect. I'm still nervous that smart OCs will continue to take advantage of an overly aggressive defense like they had multiple times before. I'm most concerned that Schwartz will fail to adjust throughout a game when stuff like that happens, as he and players have been on record saying.

All of my concerns are players returning from injury. #1:Watson's shoulder injury was very unusual. Some QBs post shoulder surgery are never the same. #2 Nick Chubb: Will he return to greatness? If anyone is serious about rehab, it's Nick Chubb. #3 Will David Njoku have as good a year with Watson throwing him the ball as he had with Flacco. Note that Njoku took the time to say: "Flacco throws a very catchable ball".#4: What are the Browns waiting for to extend AB and Kevin? #5. Will Dorsey be the answer to the Offense like Schwartz was to the Defense? #6 QB room is stuffed, someone will have to go. I'd hate to see DTR go, so I want to see how this works out. I have always been a fan of Tyler Huntley. Winston has the tools, but.....

I think you echo a lot of my thoughts about left tackle. Is it seems it time like Jed Wells is sort of the Baker Mayfield of left tackles. That didn’t work at quarterback because the middle class of quarterbacks is disappearing. You either have someone who’s getting paid like he’s the guy or you have a bridge quarterback, anymore. Or a rookie. The question seems to be if it’s worthwhile or even possible to pay Jed a middle-class left tackle contract and get middle-class left tackle play out of him. Or if our offense needs “high class” top-notch left tackle play in order to work.

Well now I have to make another comment at the tail end of the show you talked about my favorite position on the team linebackers and along with them safeties coming up I was in love with Ronnie Lott so big fast hitting run stopping safeties are marvelous to me but more important is that linebacker I hate Ray Lewis so much I couldn’t see straight I hate when he made a tackle or sacked a quarterback in Cleveland’s backfield or one of his few interceptions could not stand the man but his play was undeniably he would change the entire game just by how he would line up and I want one I want a Ray Lewis ❤Go Browns

I just hope Judy works (i think he will) for us and he even exceeds expectations. The defense finds a way to stop more mobile QBs like we did with Lamar and just the injury bug for once gives us a break and we can truly see the teams full potential. Ohh yeah and my boy Chubb come back fully healthy 🫱🏾‍🫲🏽
