What does the saying man makes the patch the patch doesn't make the man mean? Can you stand on your own as a man? Or is the club necessary for you to be relevant. If you took your cut off right now. Are you still you or are you a lesser man? Motorcycle Clubs have rules and protocols that they follow, and they take it seriously. You violate you will get your rear end kicked at a biker bar or biker clubhouse. A mistake can cost you if you're not careful. DON'T DO THESE THINGS.

Good content, as always. In all my endeavors, I've found that it's better to listen than to flex, whatever flexing might mean in a certain context. You can always spot the "patch making the man" type, even in a business meeting. Listening makes you stronger. Flexing makes you obvious.

NO need for un necessary violence, because you don't want draw attention to yourself. The Police 🚓 State, Country, City , and the Feds agencies are watching clubs. You don't wanna draw attention too the MC.
I was like that in a similar for LED-sword combat club. I was a die-hard member that even asked for permission to create a vest with the logo on it and I loved how accepting and welcoming everyone was. Over time, the club became a high school clique and became exclusive to the point that if you didn't agree with the leaders, you were shunned and sent to the back. It wasn't the group I would promote passionately about. My last day, I gave my vest to the one founder that I trusted and believed in me, that I deserved better, and deserved to be happy. With the support system of the LED-sword combat clubs and people that understood my situation, I'm back in the community with The Saber Legion and promoting the unique sport I love again. But it was true, I had the logo on my back like the patch but Sose is right.

Additional information: I kept the name of the sabers "school" out of it in respect to the founder that I did respect. I'm now part of The Saber Legion, which is an LED Saber combat community that operates nationwide.

100% On POINT Brother! 👏👏👏 Look I have been around Bikers, Clubs (Outlaw & otherwise) pretty much my whole life...and I have SEEN first hand the very dynamics you speak of here. I have always been inclined to "Observe" before speaking..."Learning" body language this way has given me , I believe, great insight. I "READ" and "SEE" true character and intent almost flawlessly. I have declined many an invitation/offer to join various clubs bc I know that ALOT of M.C.'s so-called 1%'s..."Members" were/are anything but! In short.. I concur with everything you have stated!!
...in addition I believe that there needs to be an "Overhall" of the same old, fraternity like "Precepts" of the, what I see as degrading (I realize some is necessary)"prospect" policies...

Amen to that i am still a hung around for a 1% club and am the type of person that pays attention to everything around and everything i hear many patch holders play the tough guy while having the cut on and trying to beat the shit out of anybody but when they take it off or get to ride alone thats when you discover their real face when you see they balls fall off
If you aint a good fighter go the gym and practice a combat sport don't be acting mike tyson when you aint
If someone provocates you get into the fight don't be afraid i personaly took got into a fight ans took a beaten there is no shame saying but my balls never fall off

No. That patch doesn't make the man. A few years ago, a founding member told me, "A big problem is that 20% of the Brothers do 80% of the work 80% of the time. I used to ask the prospects if they wanted to be a Brother or a patch holder.
Good to see someone teaching the youth and the new age bikers , always respect the colors of a big club .

Your either cut out for the cut or the cut will end up getting you cut out. My father was a founding member of a smaller club around western New York but have uncles in a big club wasasked many times to come and join them. My response was im honored and appreciate it 100% but i already know if for some reason your club ends uo beefing with dads club i know for a fact id stand for father so knowing id take of the cut to stand with him i cant. To this day i get respect from that club anywhere i go even in other states. Be true and know that real ones see real ones without saying anything.

I have seen Brothers who let their head swell and think they all of that. We as a Club correct that number by telling him telling them isn't the Patch that makes you a man a man makes the Patch

First question I always asked myself when I saw a guy flexing, when his Brothers were all around him, Would he act like that if he was alone and it happened. Most times patch or no patch the answer was no, most times I believed he was flexing because he didn't wanna seem weak in front of his brothers who might have seen the incident. Problem is, weakness was highlighted when he couldn't stand the thought of seeming weak in front of his brothers, and flexed for them instead of just ignoring a accidental collision.

Off topic I have my bike and mechanic shop for work and the owner of the Shop left town around Thanksgiving and is not coming back he has my bike along with 20 other people's bike how can I go about getting my bike back without committing a felony and the bike is in pieces just trying to figure out what to do

In my area, I've seen a big club giving full patches to dudes who had a bike less than a year, only prospected for 2 or so months & then get the patchitis walking around like their big boys giving everyone, including 99 mcs that have been here for decades hell & keeping good people who just started riding out of the community. It's a shame that these big 1% clubs do this to their own culture. #ghostin #ridemorepoliticless

The man definitely makes patch or even the brand in your case, due to the fact I know you as Sose the Ghost from Demons Row TV.
Moreover, I would add that entire reason for being in a MC is to ride the motorcycle, because it is fun and exciting to just go ride.
As for dealing with a man who allegedly shows disrespect to another man. To me it definitely needs to be handled man on man, because there are times an individual gets upset over something that could be a complete misunderstanding. (So you may want to attempt to work things out diplomatically like gentlemen, before you take a guy up behind a woodshed.)
