I struggle with swirls because I just don't do circles well. BUT! you've convinced me that with practice I'll like my swirls a lot better and The Essential Swirl is a real important motif and will enhance quilting projects because you've shown "how far" you can take this motif and branch out (pun intended) to make many more useful motifs. Thank you!

I loved the swirl fillers. My favorite thus far. I have to wait till after the fourth to do some, but can hardly wait. Thank you, Angela. You are the best.

Angela, a few things I'd like to share. 1. Thank you so much for your time visiting with us during the quilt walk. My girlfriends and I had a blast and spent a lot of time in your store. The selection of modern fabric in your store is truly beautiful. I look forward to being in your store again soon. 2. You taught me how to do the flower meander in a previous video and I used it on a baby quilt in some large areas that had a white background with some tiny gray random polka dots and I used pink lemonade Glide thread that I bought from your store and it turned out really really well. By the time I did it in a lot of large sections of the quilt I feel like I've got it looking really good. Thank you so much for your tutorials. I know that so many of us truly appreciate you. And then last, 3. I wish there was a search bar on your website. I had to search through pages of fabric to find the training wheels fabric that you have created and although I did scroll through every one of your products on your website it would have been great to have been able to search training wheels and quickly find what I was looking for. I worked for a search box and didn't find it so if it's there please direct me to where it is for future shopping. Thanks for all you do.

Sitting here in Layton, Utah with a case of Covid. I’ve been looking forward to the chat since class on Tuesday. Then I slept through it. 😏 so glad for the UA-cam videos to watch later. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful skills and talents.

Angela, I have to tell you this was one of the best weekly challenges I’ve done so far. I was also able to share the swirl flower and wavy swirl flower with my FMQ class. They loved it and did really well with it! Thanks again, looking forward to what you are going to throw at us next week!

I crack myself up! I quilted all the swirls, and I’m impressing myself. I get finished, pick up my panel and they all looked alike!🤣 but this morning (after the quilting fairies left) looking at the panel made me happy! Thank You You are pretty wonderful!

OMG I love that you designed a fabric that we can basically trace to help learn the swirl design quilting. I just found it on your website and m ordering it now. I am so excited to get it because I think it is really going to help me learn. Thank you SO much!!!

I like "main" swirl. Like you're my main squeeze, swirl! Or primary swirl. Also love that little dot to dot corner detail. So thoughtful! I think that get bored and be extra is what makes your quilting so inspirational. Maybe I need to shake things up and pop in more "easter eggs" and fun variations in my quilting instead of worrying so much about being "consistent". Like once the cornerstones are picked for a pattern I feel locked in to doing it the same everywhere for cohesion. I need to tap into my inner Angela!

These are really cool and useful. I'm back to FMQ after a hiatus. I just quilted a small quilt using a meander. I've never been able to meander before. I'm ready to move on. I have 2 of your books but love the tutorials.

Angela, I could look at your quilting all day long. I have been quilting my quilts "to death" ala Angela, so as I look at yours, I'm analyzing so I can improve. I wish you would indicate where you "begin pattern" start in each section. Even if you place a pin at the point it would help me follow the path. Fun stuff. "Quilting is the best part of a quilt!" And if it's not, hire someone to do it.

Struggled with elongated swirls but by the time I got to elongated swirls & pebbles I finally got it. I was having so much fun I forgot to add the pebbles! Thanks

My approach to the wavy swirl was OK I’ll try it. I wasn’t liking it while I was quilting it, but, as you promised, I loved it when finished. Thank you for the encouragement!

Thank you so much. You are the best. I’m right on track learning swirls, “I suck” but I am very excited to practice and practice and master them. Quilt on friends.

Although I find myself afraid of swirls, I wanted to ask perspective! I like when you tell us Penny size or quarter size. On the practice fabric it looks like they are much bigger. That is something I might do edge to edge. Can you give a reference for that size please.
