That's a good size Bobcat, I saw one in Crawford co Ga about the size of a full grown Golden Retriever. It crossed the road in front of me on a logging road and headed into thicker woods. A fee minutes later I could hear it yowl out, it carried on squalling a few minutes.
If you meant the first clip, that was actually a coyote pup. It was spooked by something off camera. The videos before and after did not show anything.
Helene was so bad here in upstate SC. It was worse there along the blue ridge parkway. I'm surprised you couldn't hear trees crashing in the Helen portion.
further down the mountain, there were a lot of downed trees we had to navigate to reach the camera. This area had a some damage but not to the extent of some other areas. The parkway is still closed in this area.
Always wonder what type of "light" is used by these cams at night? Is it not visible by wildlife? Infrared or something similar? Just curious as I'd like to believe their behavior is not influenced by a bright light at night.
I think this is a Cam-park camera. The battery life depends on how many night videos it records. They usually last at least 3-4 months before we have to replace them but we have had some last close to 1 year.
Fantastic footage of the bobcat and those impressive bucks in rut. Thanks for sharing Enjoyed! 👍
Thanks so much for the video I really enjoyed it 👍
Great video!!!!❤ I miss that area. I lived in Staunton and Waynesboro Va for a while. 😊
Thanks for the Video. I could watch wildlife all day in their natural habitat.

Neat stuff. Fun to watch.
Very cool!!! I live in Western NC, bobcats are the only creature I haven't seen or caught on camera :(
You can see his fatigue and fear. Wow. Catching his breath.
Interesting, how much wildlife emerges at night. ❤
Well done sir..
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice shots. You must have done some advance scouting to know that it was a hot spot.
We just look for trails and possible crossing points. After awhile, you start to recognize the signs.
Nice👍
a very advantageous spot to set up the trail camera !!! ... salt lick & cat food ???
Love it! Could you tell me make/model of the trail cam? Thx in advance!
This a a Cam-Park camera. Battery powered and all images are stored on an SD card. We use a bicycle lock to make sure it isn't stolen...
Nice footage and mountain buck.
Before or after the Hurricane?
before during and after
What was the bobcat running from

@Spyonabird yup, I don't know why I put bobcat??? There is 1 in another clip, my brain was on feline mode 🤔

It's infrared, not visible.
These camera have infra-red LEDs. MOst animals cannot see the light but sometimes there is a slight red glow on the camera
Red light is mostly Invisible to color blind animals .
@ first this is a GREAT video but then I realized there's not 1 bigfoot not 1 werewolf/dogman so I want a refund ----- please fix these oversights.
😆😵😆
According to UA-cam Bigfoot and many other cryptids live around there. I’m so surprised you didn’t catch one on video 😂
I hope you're being funny.
Well, keep waiting ,I heard he eats at McDonalds on Saturday nite!
Nice! What camera are you using and does it go through the batteries?

Not bobcat, it’s a spotted wolverine
There are no Wolverines in North Carolina. This is a Bobcat
@ yeah, just being silly. Long time to get a response. I was gonna say fishercat 🤣
Been a long long time since I have walked the forests of the Old Dominion
Coyotes or Foxes?
