Harbor Freight's Suction Vise - A Must-Watch Before You Buy!

Here's a review on the Vacuum Base Vise from Harbor Freight!! This is an interesting little unit that really comes in handing with those smaller projects. It has one particular Flaw, but I'll so you a way to remedy that situation!

An extreme magnetic base would be to use the Harbor Freight 250lb Retrieving Magnet #36905 $19.99 There is a threaded insert for the eye hook that it comes with. It might be 1/4-20
Or bolt it in the center of the US General 10 1/2 x 11 1/2 Magnetic Parts Tray #568802 $17.99

Thanks! I was thinking about how to do something like this. I have an old one which does not stick to anything anymore. Great idea. The vice is perfect for my small wood working due to the tilting. Appreciate the video.

Can you drill holes in corner?

Probably but since the upper section isn’t flat it’d be hard to mount flush.
