Thank you. I just to make sure that my hair was properly blowdried and then I applied some hair gel and tied it down with a scarf.
I understand where you're coming from with not understanding why cannabis is legal. I believe as you that smoking weed is not the best think to do but I think they legalized it because in the recent years scientists seen the properties of medical cannabis in certain illnesses like Parkinson. So in my opinion I agree with cannabis being used as medication in a controlled manner, prescribed by a doctor, the same as morphin is used for pain relief. And cannabis is less harmful than a lot of medicine out there administrator as medication not to be smoked. 😊 By the way not that I need to justify my self but I don't even smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. I know this because I like to educate myself and asking questions about things we don't understand is the best think to keep us positive about the world that we live in. Assuming think can do more harm than good. Have great day and thank you for this video. I really enjoyed it.

About the weed part, yes it reduces availability to youth because you need to show a2 pieces of ID to buy it and you must be 19 or older. When things are illegal, many people sell them lowkey and youth can easily access them. Regulating it and creating official shops helps control that problem as well as the criminal offences too. So many people have gone to jail for dealing with weed. Yes, it’s a drug but if you think about it, alcohol is a drug too 🤷🏾♀️

Look at the US, too many are locked up due to weed for their own personal consumption, and then forever tarnished with a felony record. I think Canada got it right, and as pointed out already, alcohol and cigarettes are legal and I would say they are far more damaging to health.

Oh my goodness, 😃the plastic bag thing. So I just moved to Canada in December and whenever I and hubby go grocery shopping we get plenty of plastic bags, I mean like 10-15 of them. little did we know we have been paying for them all this while. 🤣

It is deducted monthly, but you have to file your taxes, yearly, and if you earned we more than your tax brackets, you end up paying back the government money

Hi Onyeka, You have sure made a lot of us know a lot about Canada even without being there. I do really enjoy your contents and I have a very important question about Canada and the United Kingdom.
I stay with my family in Dubai, UAE and we will like to relocate to either the UK or Canada but I'm still yet to decide which will be the best option for us. Presently, I earn tentatively 10,000 AED +/- monthly (that's around 2,700 USD), I manage a travel&tourism biz here and my wife earn around 15,000 AED (around 4,000 USD), she's a medical doctor. We have two small kids, both below 3 years old.
We just need your advice to make the best decision whether to plan PR for Canada or work permit - PLAB for UK.
Appreciate your advise and support on this.
As a Doctor, she would need to take additional training and certification to practice medicine in Canada. My Dr came from South Africa and was sponsored by other Doctors and still had to take training and certification.

As of Nov 30th, if anyone has traveled to South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho and Eswatini they will need to quarantine upon arrival. The list will grow as Omircon spreads I imagine. Travel restrictions do change regularly.

Hi. Is healthcare free for non-PR person who are say the family of a student? Meaning they have just arrived (have a work permit) and is not yet in a job but the student has started so will likely have insurance with the college
Healthcare is only free for citizens or PRs.

Temporary foreign workers who hold a valid work permit maybe eligible for OHIP coverage they must be employed full time for an employer in Ontario for minimum of 6 months and maintain their primary place of residence in Ontario or be present for 153 days and 12 months.
@@sinkalamoise2465 in British Columbia, apart from PR and citizens, workers also get free healthcare. Students have to pay $75 cad per month for their insurance. It varies from province to province.

I would recommend you look into NOC (National
Occupational Classification) list and see if you qualify for skilled trade. I believe it is a class A and would be able to apply as skilled immigrant. Good luck with the process.

Try checking what you need to be able to practise here. Most occupations here are regulated, meaning that you’d need to take exams and then get licensed. You can just type your question into google and you’ll find info. You can decide to migrate as a permanent resident (just google ‘express entry’ for more info). If you’re not qualified, you can come as a student.

What of crime rates are the high?
Let me answer this one for my darling Onyeka. Apparently, Canada is the 6th safest country in the world out of 195 on current global rankings. There are pockets of crime here & there which is normal because there in no nation that is 100%. There you go.

My stance on this as a citizen is that our crime reporting rates are very good here in Canada therefore the statistics the demonstrate a very high accuracy unlike many countries around the world.
Youths are always drawn to what is hidden. Or humans generally, so when weed is open foe sale people loose interest

If you can get one year working experience in NOC 0,A&B or score really high in ielts then yea.

As far as I know, she’s not practicing pharmacy in Canada at the moment. To practise pharmacy in Canada, you’d need to take some exams. All the info you need is online. Just enter what you’re searching for into google. Good luck
