Brilliant win. 2 Aussies in the top 3 including a win is amazing given the field was full of some of the world’s best golfers. And another 2 in the top 10! A very proud Aussie golf fan right here. A win for Australian golf!! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🏌️♂️⛳️
You should be proud of him, he's got some heart. I had a small bet on him so naturally spent the last round practically shitting myself as opposed to enjoying it but his putting, especially the putts for par, were impressive. Has to go on the Masters shortlist.
😂 shame about the haircut… doesn’t seem to stop him playing some good golf! Definitely on my shortlist for The Masters. He’s done well around there the past couple of years. Maybe it’s his time this year 🙏🏻
I agree that it’s more fun to watch the pros struggle on a tough course. US Open is my favourite tourney of the year for that reason. However, it is still entertaining to see how low they can go. Really puts things into perspective when I’m fighting to break 80 on my local muni course.
Wow 3 players broke the record -34 is the record but smith deserves it never watched better golf in my life rahm -33 wasn’t enough like the conditions were too easy
Rahm was not the player (And I do respect and follow him) that could cause a problem for Cameron in this instance. Cam was just playing so great, it was "Rham just make sure that you come second !"
People in the comments complaining that the course was too easy and this was no fun to watch - the guy shot 34 UNDER PAR! Maybe the course was too easy but thats some incredible golf any way you look at it congrats to Cam on the win!
Guys, calm down, it’s one tournament in a 48 week schedule where the best in the world will shoot these scores. Yes it’s amazing to see these guys play tough courses with rough up to their calf’s and at the same time, it’s also amazing to see them dominate soft conditions. Great win Cam and great golf period.
On another level. People complaining it was too easy, these guys are just insanely good. Hackers can't relate to this, that's why they want the open every week to see them struggle like they do.
On my course, the top guys regularly hit mid 60s, I try to break 80, these guys would shoot in the 50s, insane, it may be an easy course for them but still, one has to play accurate golf 😳
Next year this tournament will be played in a typhoon and everyone will be like iTs No FuN wAtChInG tHeSe GuYs PlAy iN tHeSe uNfAiR dIfFicUlt cOndiTiOns
It’s crazy frightening how good all of them are. I don’t care if the course was easy. It’s outrageous how their skill level is so superior to any normal human.
Course is not a true test for tour pros wide fairways with downslopes and slower greens add to ridiculously low scores. Plus 4 days of beautiful weather no rain or winds to speak of
Great win from Cameron. As a Rory fan (on the wane), I cannot believe he is starting another season like the last few, play very little, be well undercooked and be incapable of winning a major AGAIN this year!!! 4 fox sake you need to change it up you dufus!!! Your strategy is NOT working.
Tour, make your courses tougher. I'd like to see things be a little more difficult for the players. They played this course like it was miniature golf.
These courses are like pitch putt course. They need to be tougher. 34 under isn’t golf , I prefer to watch tournaments where the winner is 8 or 9 under for the 4 days.
Congratulations to Cam. I don’t understand why the golf channel aired the tournament for just two hours. That channel is never consistent with their programming!
When you see scores like this you know the course was not set up to challenge pros. Cup placement, no wind and lift, clean and place doesn’t make for a interesting tournament. It always amazes me how commentators compare today’s players to Palmer and the other greats of the past when it was a completely different game. Tiger Woods and the new breeds are great golfers, but if it wasn’t for the technology, equipment and financial backing I doubt there would be much of a show. The new breeds will have a tougher time with a lengthy career since it is a global field and the equipment demands more physical challenges to the body. Love the older golfers and the younger ones, but there is a stark difference between the game of the past and present. 😎
Fact that everyone plays same conditions same tech makes it harder to win actually. Players are getting better equipment should too usga need to drop old way of thinking and let the sport evolve

And a win for Australian haircuts .

Right 10.5 is too slow.
@@andrewthompson2692 it's the same for everybody
I too fight to break 80. On front 9. :(
It's the power of the Mullet. Definitely intense match for sure, but Mullet always comes out with the W
Great win for Cam. Didn't flinch playing with rahmbo. Matt Jones...62, Sat....61 sun. Wowzer
Great 4 days of solid golf Cam, I was cheering hard for you, very impressed
Wow 3 players broke the record -34 is the record but smith deserves it never watched better golf in my life rahm -33 wasn’t enough like the conditions were too easy
Smith was just on fire. Great ball striking and that putting...my goodness. Great composure too
Greens are slow in Hawaii. Most courses use Bermuda
Rahm was not the player (And I do respect and follow him) that could cause a problem for Cameron in this instance. Cam was just playing so great, it was "Rham just make sure that you come second !"
Doesn't count as a record tho
What about Joe Durant's -36 at the Bob Hope in 2001? Does it not count?
Would love to see him paired up with Min Woo Lee at the President's Cup this year
Nice to see Cameron Smith win!
People in the comments complaining that the course was too easy and this was no fun to watch - the guy shot 34 UNDER PAR! Maybe the course was too easy but thats some incredible golf any way you look at it congrats to Cam on the win!
34 under because it was too easy numb nuts
Rahm explained that this is usually a windy course, but there was no wind for 3 days, and that is why the scores went low.
@@Kennnny77 same for everyone. Can't have the open every week num nuts lol
34 under is unreal! 😊 Congratulations! Well deserved! 👍👍👍
Thank You to whomever put this highlight reel together. Good combination of different types of shots
Imagine you watch all day and espn drops coverage on the last hole. Absolutely ridiculous.

Very impressive performances from the Aussies...
I've been as low as a 1.4. This stuff absolutely blows my mind! I couldn't even sniff these guys.
On another level. People complaining it was too easy, these guys are just insanely good. Hackers can't relate to this, that's why they want the open every week to see them struggle like they do.
Insane, golf is finally reaching a whole new level.
Next major champion imo
The Mullet strikes again - you little ripper Cam!
Congrats, Mullett Man!
The Aussies kick arse 🙏❤️🙌❤️
Matt Jones has a beaut of a swing
Yeah looks like he just rotates back and rotates through......just smooth
did not expect this kind of music on a golf video
Queenslander!!💪👌
Imagine shooting 33 under and still losing XD
Imagine 32 under and ending up third….
Fun to watch, target golf, throwing darts, knocking down pins.
Ausi .. ausi .. ausi.. oi..oi.. oi.., god job mate
Love your vids, keep it up
Take a picture of this! Because these records will never be broken!
Tony in the Outro!!! 👍👌
I love C. Smith!!!:)♡
None Looks more classic Australian than Smith, long live the mullet!
So this is how low they can go with 4 days of perfect weather…purely amazing.
On need to say one thing..QUEENSLANDER
34 under wicked golf cam
On my course, the top guys regularly hit mid 60s, I try to break 80, these guys would shoot in the 50s, insane, it may be an easy course for them but still, one has to play accurate golf 😳
People who don't play golf have absolutely no clue what these guys are capable of.
The power of mullet
Should make the course harder. -34 seems bananas

Congrats Cam! 🥳😎 #AussieAussieAussie

Shoutouts to the guy dancing in the bleachers at the end
IS THAT MULLET REGULATION LENGTH?
Going deep to hoot 33 & 32 under to scoop up an L. Damn these guys are decent
34 under ! The Plantation is not an ez course!
I’m still working on finishing 34 under 133
Imagine caddying for rahm. No thanks, except the money
Matt Jones lowest 36 holes ever on the PGA Tour. BTW!!!
Lowest score wins everytime.
Wow
Finally found a course I can play and go under 100
The course looked to easy this year with the score records!!!
Course is not a true test for tour pros wide fairways with downslopes and slower greens add to ridiculously low scores. Plus 4 days of beautiful weather no rain or winds to speak of
PGA tour PLEASE stop showing us who has won the actual tournament in the thumbnail
Watch the thing live then

Any course will be this easy for them when it’s soft like it was
This was ridiculous
Stupid scoring. These players overpowered this course.
34 under. What is it a pitch and putt course!!
These courses are like pitch putt course. They need to be tougher. 34 under isn’t golf , I prefer to watch tournaments where the winner is 8 or 9 under for the 4 days.

roll back the ball for pros
Just hit it further
No. It’s fun to watch good golf.
Play from the womens t’s?
34 UNDER does NOT make me INTERESTED!!
Reckon I could break par on that course. And I'm a five year old girl.
I am sorry. I am a fierce supporter of saving the par. Any tournament that shows anything under 20 is a joke
First comment
34 under??? What a joke!! Play a real course!!
this "joke" of a course would be tough for anyone that isn't a touring professional.
I repeat "John Rahm is not the best finisher"...seen him come 2nd too many times in tight situations...
????? Dude shot -33, what does that remotely have to do with closing?
Don't get me started with what he does at Torrey...
Just shut up lol

So golf shouldn't have progressed and stayed in the 60s? Every sport/life itself has progressed do you whinge about that too?

ok boomer
@@Breakfastststst agreed and happy to see progress. Just have an issue with comparing players from different times 😎 hit them straight and long
To everyone saying it was too easy out there remember you probably would have shot plus 90 out there.
I shot 81 and lost a sleeve of balls. From the same tees as them. It’s an incredibly easy course. The fairways are huge and the greens aren’t fast.
