WOW. I'm a mid 60 angler who only started fishing about 10 yrs ago. Really encouraging for me to see someone who is not a young pup taking on the challenge. Can't wait to see how it goes
Beautiful boat Rick I have to say you make one of the best bass boats and it's so awsome all the videos you make I haven't seen any other boat builders do videos like you do other then forest woods it means a lot good luck this year fishing and keep making them awesome boat s .
Nice ride Rick!!! 🤓 Rick!!! show them if you have the right boat you don't need electronics 😎 the only electronic you need is the one under your hat 🤠🤠🤠 Let's go "Bass Cat Man" 👍
Good looking rig! Thank you for sharing. I always enjoy seeing how fisherman set up their boat. I really enjoy when a LEGEND shares their set up, thank you Rick! Good info on the stick bait rod length. Your boats are awesome, I love the new latches for completely dry storage. Good Luck this year in the Opens. God Bless.
I love this boat. If I can figure out how to get out of my ZXR, this is the next boat on the list.. I got to drive one a few months ago, this boat surpassed anything I could ask for.
Rick, just watched this video and I want to say, it was great watching you show us your gear and the way it is set up. I liked the way you set up your power source with respect to your batteries. When I do get a Bass Cat I hope you are there to design it for me. I hear wonderful stories about how you and your team take your customers seriously. I hate to us a name dropper but I thing the people at White River Marine Group don't even know how to fish or even like to fish. There job is to get the boats sold and say goodbye to the customer. Calling them is like bothering them over an issue. They don't want to hear from the customer. Believe me, I bought a new Ranger off the showroom floor. The service manager at the dealership said he had issues with White River Marine Group. I should have listened to him more before I wrote the check for the boat. Oh well, live and learn.
Rick good luck on your in your tournaments this year. Just wanted to thank you for the letter, jacket, and cap I received. I'm loving my new Cougar I purchased from Ross Motorsports. God bless.
Good luck sir! I just bought one of your boats 2 weeks ago, the 2024 Eyra black on black w/ Yam Sho 250. from Ross Motorsports, in Lufkin. Love it! Good luck in the tournament!
@@BassCatTV hey Rick, just a quick review of the boat. I broke in the motor this weekend. My experience, I’m 53, had been Ranger including my friends. So this is my first Cat. First, I thought I’d comment on the lid shapes because I haven’t seen anyone say this, but what I like about them, is when I’m in the boat, I don’t have to open some giant box, forcing me to move out of the way first. Your lids, you can kneel next to them and open them. Same goes for outside the boat. Quick easy access. Next and the reason I wanted a Basscat. (I fish Louisiana delta and Miss River). So No need for a giant boat. Plus the Mississippis loaded ship driven swells, an extra foot won’t help anyway, so the Eyras responsiveness and ability to maneuver inside the wave is better. And finally (I was worried that it would feel like a smaller boat) however, that is not the case, it’s like a shorter Big bass boat.. if that makes sense. But the best part, is that the hull seems to elevate as you increase speed. So much so that it feels above the waves allowing for u turns in 2 foot chop. Where my Ranger would be taking hits on the side of the hull. I was wondering if this is true, that the boat elevates or if it is just that fast? Needless to say, I’m a happy customer and an instant fan. Hope you did ok in your tourney!
@@rex2837 Congratulations on your new Eyra and thank you for the honest feedback and review. Just so happens that where you are located is a hot spot for folks that love the Eyra and it's performance both running and on the trolling motor. The Eyra happens to be Rick's favorite hull and layout but he chose to run the Puma this year for space and the market demand. The hull does lift with increased speed and it's a pretty cool feeling that some haven't experienced but should. We have customers on the great lakes that also love the Eyra because they feel that they can navigate the big spaced out rollers better with the boats size and maneuverability.
I'm 62 and finally got my kitty, pumasts. It is a huge rocket. Can't thank u enough Mr. PIERCE
Man to fish a derb with this guy would be awesome. Good luck this season, Rick! 👍
I hope you got a good team deal on your boat ....😂 Good luck, glad to see ya back fishing again

I'm an Almond Joy guy as well. 👊🏻
Beautiful Boat! You could be real nice to your back boater if you leave the 360 on the console srceen for them to watch.
Remember it’s the small things Rick that matter, my Eyra is still screaming thanks for designing the most reliable brand on the water
Running a single bank charger for that back up battery
How does the converter work? Not sure I understand where your getting 36volt from 12 volt batteries
U have any hidden yellow sonics, and wooden devil horses, don't leave home with out. 😅😅😅
Mr. Rick the Garmin 8610 is not the 8610xsv? Thanks, good luck
the deer act like pets!!!
I will be winning the main prize boat. This year at the 2024 tournament.
Good luck see you in April!
Lots of respect for that guy but that layout absolutely sucks, little boxes in little boxes. Need to fix the box layout.
