Watching your play-throughs is like watching baseball for me. I'm absolutely addicted, and anytime I'm near a screen, it just needs to be on. Plus the length of time is a similar investment :)
Heh, thanks Alan. There are worst things to be compared to. :) You may be happy to hear that we're going to start offering 2 versions of our play-throughs: the full kit-n-kaboodle (as we always have), but also the whole video broken up into 3-4 chunks: teaching, Part 1 play-through, Part 2 play-through, and the Roundtable discussion at the end. That should make them a bit less...daunting to ingest. :) Thanks as always!
i was so reticent b/c of the 4 hrs but I started watching to learn a bit about corporations, and you guys sucked me in with your great setup and entertainment value. quite possibly the best viewing of a game i've ever seen-- this is the way to do it!
Completely different way then with my friends. we usually take the card spots earlier and the area in the south is often very contested. great to see that groupthink is not just a thing of the forums :)
That's pretty cool to hear, Jorik. That's one of the reasons we enjoy making these as it shines the light on how different folks play these games. Pretty cool to see and hear. Thanks for sharing and watching!
Nice! It's one that still hits the table for us from time-to-time. It's definitely one of the more popular games as we see it all over when we go to various Cons around the world. Enjoy, Stasia!
at time hack 2:05:10...Ed(?) (the player who is showing us his cards) kept 4 cards, which cost 12. he paid into the bank 15, but took 4 back. he took back 1 too many.
Reducing another player's energy production with Energy Tapping isn't optional. If no-one else has any energy production, you have to reduce your own (or not play it). If no-one has any energy production, you can't play the card. Other cards that take resources from other players ARE optional. On the card it even says 'You may take up to...' x amount of plants or whatever. To summarise - Removing resources - optional Reducing production - mandatory

Excellent, what software do you use to control the webcams
Thanks, Mundo! We have 4 video cameras (not webcams) due to wanting to be able to zoom (optical vs digital). And we use XSplit for our software. Thanks for watching!
The starter corporations are more of a hindrance for new players, because the "proper" corporations can give a focus. Starting with no special power and, well, too many choices, can be numbing.
i played terraforming mars about 80 times and i can say that milestones gives way too much points, its just crazy to pay 8 mc and get 5 points, 5 points in this game is HUGE ! i think 2 would be perfect and for awards 3
It's been years since i played TM and this was a great rules refresher. Thx Edward!

We just saw the game in a shop recently and I was drawn to it. This has immensely helped. Going to purchase it tonight! Thanks guys!

My daughter and I absolutely love this game. We already have the first expansion and the Venus Next expansion should be here next week.

Looking forward to seeing the first expansion in action! :-D
Same! Hopefully possible on an EU friendly timeframe :P
We'll try and make that happen. Maybe afternoon time local here for y'all across the pond! Should be fun!
Great video. I watched the whole thing.
Great stuff, guys!
another great video
1:31:20 It isn't a space event, it's a building, doesn't have an arrow, so no freebees man! Even the three heat you kept!
yeah...big gaffe
We usually start by looking at the corporation cards and first 10 cards at the same time. Before we pick a corporation.
i thought thats the way its supposed to be
Planning on introducing the club to multiplayer base game all of whom should be able to abstract the rules from other games.
Great game enjoyed even almost 9 months late

wow 1 coin... they've chosen their corps befor the starting hand... probably the bigger mistake
