Today we are doing a soul food eating challenge featuring some true American cuisine and some of the most delicious foods on the face of this earth! Today we are taking on the "SUPER Momma" fried chicken eating challenge at momma's soul fish and chicken in Phoenix Arizona. For this challenge we had only 30 minutes to complete the $90 meal in order to get it for free, fail and we would have to pay for the giant platter consisting of shrimp, catfish, fried chicken and three sides of our choice. momma's soul fish and chicken has become a very popular soul food restaurant and famous American restaurant in the area for their southern cuisine (aka famous soul food). This food has Mississippi roots and a touch of st louis tang. Can Joel Hansen defeat this giant American food challenge?

And through that love, they use it in their cooking, down through the ages, and have perfected some of the best food that comes out of this country. If you know this, then you know I AINT LYIN.

I would take an a** whooping to get my hands on some of that!! All the fried foods and the veggies (especially the collards) looked delicious!! I was lucky enough to have a mama that could cook good stuff like that and she still makes me fried chicken on my birthday (next one - I'm 65!). I could easily tell you were loving that food. If I'm ever in Phoenix, I am going to seek this place out. Thanks so much for this video and especially for introducing us to this wonderful, loving family.

Soul Food is the staple of American culture. Slaves did cook in the kitchen for the Slave master and after slaves many Black Americans were maids, butler and often cook in the kitchen as well. With that being said I have been there before and their greens are good. Black Americans are not only the heart of American cuisine and music but the heart of America for sure. Very homely people.
