Personally I would spray the brush first then use the lipstick/lip stain. I may be wrong but I feel like it'll last you a lot longer and it won't make a mess.
if you want a light effect you can just have a little water on your finger and tap it and then tap it on a lip. would look natural. and if you want it to look as a bright red lipstick then you method is a right way for sure!

The other one is for a "pedicure"...take off dead skin from your feet. Soak your feet in water or during shower you can than scrub your heels...anywhere in your feet where u have dead skin

The second one is a tool to scrub your underfoot with it !! While showering or you can put your feet in warm water for few minutes and start scrubbing your foot it helps to remove dead skin and soften your feet

Just so you're aware, the product is in a very thin layer on the terracotta. If you wet the whole thing you'll waste the product. It's better to just pick up what you need on a brush

That lip colour on the dry pot is exactly looking like a colour used in Holi festival in India. We purchase it in dried form and then mix water with it to play. It is highly pigmented and doesn’t leave the palms for a week. It is not toxic, because we as kids played with it.
On the upside there's actual makeup artists that don't do this part 2 BS. There's one that shows the whole thing. Look up Erin Parsons Make up. She's great. None of the BS.
It seems like low key altaa...an Indian water based paint that women use to paint their feet... bt if it dries on any surface than human skin it turns into earth-ish colour....bt the appearance of this dried Altaa depends on the quality of the product..
