Demond was offered a lot of money to reprise his role with Redd Foxx and he turned it down. He left Hollywood and became a preacher and would not return to that world for ANY amount of money. MUCH RESPECT SIR! Bless you!

Forgot to mention what a huge Sanford and Son fan I was back in the day.!! It was a truly hysterical show. Those were seemingly more innocent times, but it is a blessing that a lot of the darker elements of the rich and famous is being exposed, bit by bit. Eventually, evil destroys itself which has been going on since earlier civilizations. It is so heartwarming to see Demond doing SO well in his later years. His voice will really count because he has an insider's testimony. 😊👌✌

This is why I love our elderly people. THEY KNOW A LOT, ABOUT A LOT! This newer generation has a lot to learn... from them. One day when our elders are gone, the intel will go with them, leaving the newer generation clueless, cause it's all about the music, not the backstory. I grew up watching Sanford and Son, and I loved it. Peace and love ❤️

I was raised watching every episode of Sanford and Son and was excited and surprised to see him as a preacher. I was also shocked when he told the congregation that he was high on coke during every episode of Sanford and Son I made sure to tell him that I was a fan for years and honored to shake his hand as a man of God.If you look back on Sanford and Son reruns now you will notice that his eyes were bloodshot in most episodes,it makes sense now hearing his confession of the cocaine addiction.

I heard this same sentiment from another black man, I can’t remember his name, but these men know what is what. I have said, it before and I’ll say it again, Satan will pretends that he’s in your corner, but the fact remains that Satan hates these people who he has blinded with his chicanery and when he’s finished using these blind people who unfortunately hate God, the only one who offers love and compassion by sending His Son for our salvation, but Satan, the one who really hates your ever loving guts will use you up and throw you away like a dirty paper cup. People, if you want peace with God, ditch the devil and move to the winning side. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER Believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)

When I was about four-five years old I lived with my single Mom out by LA and she considered putting me up for commercials and whatever. Her sister told her she would never do such a thing to her daughter. And it always stuck with me, it must have been common knowledge back in the 60’s at least that was a dangerous thing to do. We have gone through a process of becoming less sharp over the years and now we, most of us a full-on non-thinkers. That is another curious thing. How did that happen. Who wants to be naive? It is a very good thing people are rekindling a taste for clarity and facts. We are not far from a time when everyone was sharp and on the ball. Thanks for this episode. He is so right. That was just his character, on TV, let's remember that part.
The Boy Scouts trained in survival techniques... foraging and staying alive... in the old days, remember 70 yrs ago we'd just got past the depression and WWII SO THOSE THINGS WERE IMPORTANT TO SURVIVE, COMING UP ON Korean conflict then the Cold War. If you survive... build a fire and skewer 🍢 squirrel... while school kids are under a desk in AirRaid position in a school that was built as a neighborhood bomb shelter...4 of my schools were Bomb Shelters.

She said there were plenty of pedophiles and predators in the industry even then. There were some fine people, of course, but the industry attracted the degenerates of society as they had money and could buy whatever they wanted. And yes, parents were eager to hand their children over for money.
