I think I went to Manila after this particular flight, I’ve flown Oman Air quite often and will much more in 2024 once they join Oneworld. I love them and the livery is great indeed! Thanks for writing 😜
Awesome review, had the pleasure of flying their MAX to Tanzania and it was a very enjoyable experience, will do so again soon from Germany and am excited to see how the MAX compares to their 787 on a longer flight. Hope you enjoyed Muscat :)
The fact that omain air has ife on economy class on their 737max and vistara doesn't even have ife screens on their business class on a320neo is crazy 😭

Salam Air has some great offers and while I considered flying with them to Phuket also, I am really afraid of the comfort part.. So I’m glad you wrote me this info!
I see. My legroom is good and it has headrest, so it's comfortable. When I flew Salam air from Prague to Phuket via Muscat on the 1st and 2nd leg of the flight, nothing happen.

Thanks for the video, Alex. The engines do not need to warm up. Actually, they are at their hottest during the start-up sequence. The Exhaust Gast Temp (EGT) gets to its highest during the latter part of the start-up. The 5-minute period is to allow for the oil in components driven by the engines (e.g. the generators) to warm up and get to its optimum viscosity levels.

British Airways fly London Heathrow to Jersey (UK) and it’s about 35 mins flying time. Drinks and light meal is offered in business class as well as a snack and water in economy. It’s always nice to get a little something even on short flights.
The shortest flight out of DXB is actually Kish Island followed by Bandar Abbas and then Muscat and Doha next. Before it was Suhar in Oman but that route was cancelled.

They need to start a HSR between the two cities for more traffic and better environment protection. I hear a railway is being built but not sure if it is HSR
Nice video. Sorry for being a pedant but Muscat (187.9 nm) isn't the shortest flight from Dubai. There are a few destinations which are closer and the shortest is Qeshm (94.2 nm) with Qeshm Air.

Each video has some new viewers.. And let me tell you a funny anecdote. Twice in the past months I was told by cabin crew that some passengers are randomly bringing them sweets on flights without any motive. So I hope I made some change there 😎

The 737 MAX is no longer unsafe; they fixed the issues a few years ago.

The track actually passes next to my home. It’s mostly for cargo initially. And to serve UAE cities, not sure if it will go up to Muscat..
