It negatively effects the game in EVERY way & makes things far more complicated!... If I knock someone, I like to have the tactical option (and less toxic play IMO) of *NOT* flushing. This allows the enemy an incentive to push and go for 'trades' and one squad outright win the fight. In the current format, when i knock someone I have to think (is this an AED map) and then often 'insta-flush' as I dont want to risk them reviving.
It's also a MAJOR issue when you knock 2 or 3 players of a team (1 of which has an AED) but you assume there is a 4th player still alive, which causes you to play entirely differently expecting further engagement. The system is terrible. It should be removed and only available for custom games. If they are adamant that it stays in the game, there should be 1 if not both of these solutions used.
(1.) There be a 'visual cue' (enemy flashes green for example) so you know immediately if the enemy has a self revive.
OR / AND
(2.) It is removed from game but EVERY player has the self revive ability on their 1st knock & the revive happens automatically at the end of what is normally the 60 seconds bleed out
I don't mean to offend here, but the only people the AED properly incentivises are those who avoid close combat engagement. It allows these players to shoot from cover at a distance, giving plenty time to revive if they get knocked. I have done this myself (picked up 3 AED's) and won a game as I just kept my distance and effectively had 3 extra lives over everyone else. It was funny but entirely unfair.
At a bare minimum, if they don't do any of what I listed above, they absolutely must restrict the number of AED's in your inventory to a max of 1.
decent way to make self-rez (balanced) is have it only work until the end of phase 4
There are players that shouldn't have won cus they got knocked across the map and they had circle and a big rock, hill, ditch, tree, building, smoke and/or vehicle to hide behind, while the person that knocked them had to run into the circle or rotate without any kind of cover or advantage
Then the self-rez guy wins easy cus they had zone/cover and a 3rd life
Its wild that blue chip transmitters are able to work up until the end of phase 6
@@Celestial_Omega Yeah, i'd also like to see it being removed from end game. Doesn't solve the overall issue (for me) but certainly would be a big improvement.

i kinda wish the knocking happened in solo mode also, the next best thing is self AED. i wish that if i could take cover at my weakest long enough after getting knocked and enemy couldn't get to me, i could get back up even without self AED. then we can fully remove self AED while making its core mechanic more balanced. kinda like how in rust you can get back up if you have heals in your toolbar.
I like using the self revive when I play solo squads if they don’t thirst me, it’s funny because they start looking for my teammates and I have none then bam I’m back and get the kills!

I like to have a chance to extend my game, so self-AED is a good item. I think self-AED already pretty balance, not really that OP. It's not easy to obtain, it's slow to use, and that beeping when you almost finish using it? Yea, a pretty good item I must say.

I hear no one else and I play with randos and all of them think it's a stupid idea to ban that s*** cuz they're already rare enough as it is. Self AED is a free extra life item that feels too arcadey for me. No risk, all the reward. It’s ok to disagree bud!
My thing is most people playing the game are too retarded to actually use it at the right time. I know it because I'm one of those and I just keep dying with it. That's from my point.But yes, when it comes to things like ranked mode, I do not believe any of those items should be in the game. But yes we don't have to always agree on stuff. I just want it to be out there for others cuz to be honest this game's getting really boring and it's getting really hard to try to get friends to play with me when it's just the same b******* and there's nothing new@@CDome like I have two to three groups of friends I play with. But the problem we're having on console is PlayStation still keeps crashing and it's the PS5s and will be literally at the end circle and three of my teammates are logged out. Those are the problems I want pubg to focus on. Not just trying take out random ass items that don't break the game. Trust me, I feel like I'm the only loyal pubg player because even the clans I play with the last three rounds and they end up just quitting most of the time because they're on PlayStation and it just kicks them but other reasons are they just keep getting headshot and sniped out of nowhere or we get pinched and they just quit

We have bigger problems like PS5 servers that just keep crashing and my friends only last maybe two or three rounds like that and then they just end up quitting and if it's not just that it's the they don't get to loot anything cool in secret locations anymore because now those are nerfed so now we don't even get cool items anymore and it's even more of a struggle and then those are super tryhard that play all day keep owning us and then they all just keep quitting and then I end up just playing by myself. Most of the time I feel that us destroying all these new items and making things harder is just making it more fun for players that are already in, not for any new players they're trying to bring in
I wanted to bring this to your attention because the old school RuneScape community also has this problem. I call it the alpha giraffe syndrome because what happens is one giraffe will become a bull and he'll just keep killing all the others and basically the bloodline dies because it just becomes ancestral and that's what I believe is happening to this game
