The power showcase has a metal and wood category. Christian Walker won the year Bryce Harper was is in it. So if you look up the power showcase you should be able to see for yourself.
I don't want to bash the guy, but there were other people who i saw that had a lot of swing strength and their swing was fluid. If they didn't use a metal bat, those balls would've flew so far also. People need to scout amateurs because they got that skill but never see their names. Some black dude over 10 years ago nicknamed 'Tank' was one of them
its a metal bat... also not one from this decade ... like you put the ball in the pitching machine and shoot it towards the fence with it turned all the way up...
To everyone bashing the fact that he did this with a metal bat: HE IS SWINGING A BBCOR!!!!! WHEN BRYCE HARPER DID IT, HE WAS USING A BESR!!! THERE IS A TREMENDOUS DIFFERENCE!!!! #IYKYK
It'll be interesting to see how he hits with a wood bat. ⚾

It’s certainly impressive but I can’t believe metal bats are used at that age. Here in my neck of the woods 15 and up are only allowed wood bats.
The next Blaze Jordan 😂
I know a kid personally who is 6'2" 190# that can hit a baseball 450'. So, with juiced balls and 40# I believe it.

What you mean
I wonder if they use BBCOR or USSSA bat standards for that event.
Bbcor which still makes it still insanely impressive
544' are you serious =, there aint no way I dont believe it, bro is talented but there's not way that's even 500ft. What bat was he using?
Grade 20 foot speed
Ok
Imagine how insane he’s gonna be once he gets drafted and gets mlb level training
The video does not show where the ball landed on scoreboard. The video should have an arrow to point it out.
Wow that's a kid that hasn't played his junior year yet.
With a metal bat? Who cares
Who hurt you
Shut up u definitely couldn’t
@theartofpqh Keep playing your anime video games little tike, leave the grownup sports to the grownups
He’s in highschool dumbass
yeah go play your dumbass anime games
100% textbook high level swing - I bet this kid watches Teacherman all day

At that age wood bats should be mandatory. Where I live 15 and up can’t use metal
@ where is this? I love that rule!
@@billd.7395 I live in Canada. I guess not only is our beer stronger and better so are our baseball players 😜
@@billd.7395 With the skill level this guy has a metal bat is dangerous
@MikeHart72 MLB must be flooded with Canadian players right?
guy barely even swings the bat and sends it into orbit
