In the first place we should ensure that we use such material that is not slippery as flooring in the bathroom.
Always use anti skid tiles on the bathroom floor to make the bathroom less slippery.
Never use Vitrified Tiles on the floor of the bathroom. Vitrified Tiles can be very slippery in the bathroom.
Use Anti Skid mats on the bathroom floor to make them less slippery.
Always install some handle bars in the bathroom to reduce the risk of falling in the bathroom.
Immediate solution to make your bathroom floor less slippery, please lay towels on the floor while using the bathroom.
Keep the bathroom floor clean and dry to make your bathroom less slippery.
It is very important to ensure that we don't fall in the bathroom,. especially for the elderly.

Good information. I think you should have mentioned the ways to separate the dry and wet area in the bathroom.
Also, One more tip which everyone should follow that, of you are using chappals (flip-flops) in the bathroom or WC then, please make sure that it has the proper grip in the bottom sole. Make sure you throw away and replace the chappals once it becomes slippery.
Some people use their old chappals in the bathroom which is very dangerous.

What is your view on nano coatings? It is supposed to give the desired grip but needs to be done once a year. Cost I believe is about 3K for a 100 sft bathroom.

बुजुर्ग लोग anti skid slippers का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं। इसकी नीचे की सतह काफी Rough होती है इसलिए किसी के फिसलने की संभावना न के बराबर होती है।

Marble can be used with caution. Not as risky as Vitrified Tiles.

NEVER. my experience with marble is extremely bad. Polished it less. Still, Can't use acid, Harpic, bleach on marble. But I had to and it went all black and porous. Vv bad. In my opinion, Cement is the best(if someone has no issues with it) wherever water usage is more.
