My wife and me went here in August 10nd, 2,024. It was very fun and we had a very fun time and saw cool stuff. It was very nice and the weather was also very nice. A lady who was a volunteer at this park told us a very sad story about how people died here and that we should be very careful on the trails so we were very careful. I also saw a butterfly on a leaf and took a few pictures. (Of the butterfly 🦋) (With mycamera) I hope I can go here again Somme day. I was here once in 1996.
I'm not sure actually. I made this video for a class project back in the spring, but if you would like to know you should contact one of the links mentioned at the end of the film. Thanks!
Whoever did this video spoke wrong everything is located in UTICA NOT OTTAWA Illinois. Nowhere in the video does it say Utica which is a couple miles further down I-80 from Ottawa which is were this video was done.
Just got back from camping for 3days n loved it.... It's nice to see the land where my ancestors once lived before they were genocide by Europeans.... SMH Amazing place
You mean genocided by other natives? Do you even know the story of starved rock? Whites had nothing to do with that shit show. Your people had no problem genociding eachother. Stop blame shifting. There is blood on your ppls hands too. IL was largely empty by the time white got here, wna know why?? Cuz the natives slaughtered eachother to the point the land was empty. Read some journals of ppl who settled IL back then. There was no fight for IL because your ppl were already mostly dead bro.
This video is wrong. Whoever did it forgot to mention that this state park is located near the "Great Fish Memorial" sight. It's an OBVIOUS thing to talk about, since at least 1,000 fish were slaughtered by a posse of raccoon bandits that intended to put fear in the hearts of ponies through terrorist actions.

This land is my land, and I'm from a lost tribe called falk-a-hoe.
the only park we have.
Not true. I can think of several off the top of my head.
Illinois is trash.. well especially chicago. Chicago is a trash city with trashy people. Illinois, California and New York should just disappear.

Never heard of Great Fish Memorial and I’ve lived here for 5 years. Thank you.

Lol. Aurora.. Not Chicago. But interesting video. Learned a thing or two
Correct, I debated going to downtown for the shot, but figured it wasn't worth it haha.
