STUFF that I could improve: 00:00 Should've researched marines early, and getting pioneers and a naval invasion cap increase would have been worthwhile in the special forces doctrines. Would have helped for Sea Lion. 7:20 Cheaper screens with just light attack would've ended up being more useful for control of the English Channel. 15:15 For the first event for Austria, I should've always went with the bottom option. It was a waste of PP. The difference it made was 23x compared to 24x. 37:00 Added 2 bomb locks onto CAS as early as possible, which've provided a huge boost to ground attack. 50:00 I invested into synthetic oil rubber a little too early. Should have waited until 1938 and imported rubber from Siam. 1:07:50 Heavy tank flamers are now meta due to their extra terrain attack traits. 1:16:10 Adding Martin Bormann to the inner circle when waiting for Anschluss. Could've saved a ton of PP 1:28:30 I forgot to complete the war preparations national focus.
Institute price controls can be done even after you have taken Autarky Achieved. This means you can get -80% consumer goods factor by clicking the decisions after that.
I'd leave the light cruiser, place your cheaper ships on infinite, leave the army alone in the beginning because you kinda need them for army xp in the volunteer gig. But yes do the step otherwise for future divisions.
If you put 20 factories on infantry equipment initially then you can deploy 100 infantry divisions straight away with the xp from rhineland which lets you do anschluss as the third focus (and allows max volunteers), then you can go to the hitler advisor focuses for bormann, then into PEG. this gives enough pp to go straight to war econ when you complete PEG (after first taking free trade + Krupp with pp from rhineland and anschluss) and go straight down to the extra research slot. MEFO isn't bad and the consumer facs factor is initially low so there's no need to rush into PEG until you have the austria factories to get the research slot. Importantly, as you are taking anschluss before austria does any of its focuses they never put the cost up and you can ignore all the anschluss decisions. ALSO you get the austrian generals pre-civil war and can grind their lvl3 general with mountaineer so you only need to grind hill fighter to get adaptable, and since the lvl 3->4 upgrade is cheap on xp you can use the army spirits to get more points in the stats you like (IMO planning is best) as he will level up twice if you are playing on a higher difficulty or in multiplayer, tacs are actually more IC efficient than CAS. Although this isn't immediately obvious, the extra armour on tacs means you lose fewer (like 60% fewer, for CAS to be worth it'd need to be
Love these longer Meta videos Dave. Definitely think you should do this with every major to give the most up to date Mets play for the current DLC/Patch. Japan next??
I had success with going down the left army path. I kept mobile warfare, stacked org with the infantry and artillery buffs. My units where pretty much unstoppable, and outside of the starting tank divisions and the mountaineers and marines I made late game I only had infantry and cavalry.
Siam was renamed to Thailand in 1939 for the new king to unite the Thai speaking peoples and also bring the nation into modern times. Like the Thai version of Meiji era. British math = 45 + 40 + 5 = 100?
Do the first two national focuses (rhineland and heed or weh), 20 factories on guns, 5 on supp equipment, 3 art, make everyone the infantry temp and make 6 more. The second those 6 are fully equiped spawn them and you anschluss 1936 march 15. You only have like a 5 day window so make sure to watch the units being produced. havent tried doing it sooner with less but this has worked for me everytime. Love the channel, love the videos
14:51 Maxing out each dockyard line gives diminishing returns, so like the last 4 dockyards added only reduce the completion time by a few days so isn’t it better to have 2 ships with 6-7 dockyards?
The prioritize economic growth path is a slog until you get the Wirtschaftswunder focus in which it reduces the number of factories used for consumer goods. But like he said its locked behind tech before that point. Mainly construction 3 but allot of those focuses increase manpower by changing the state of some regions to urbanized. Many also improve factory output and efficiency. The 4 Year Plan focuses on resources which relies heavily on war and conquest before the economy collapses on itself.
What I find frustrating about aircraft designs. When you try to go historical with plane designs, they perform like shit. For example, E variant and later BF-109s had twin heavy machine guns and a single 20mm cannon. Mounted in the nose cone of the prop in the center of the engine. This would also be true with FW-190 variants. They were devastating to targeted aircraft.
In reality the Germans could of produced jet aircraft as soon as 1941 but didn't as evil mustache man was too cocky and didn't feel the Airforce needed them. By the time they ended up producing them it was too late to turn the course of the war. Also, they were running out of experienced fighter pilots. Also, in the desperation to get them going they had allot of problems such as engines burning out after only a short while. Caused by the lack of resources.

i look back and check the pp of Austria really is just a joke ,50pp for reduce to 23 times bigger isn't worth it

You can get "engineer" trait in Spain by attacking through rivers.
Is super meta. However, it's too much micro for me
@@FeedbackGaming we need micro-chatgpt-DLC for HOI4.
Merry Christmas! Dave you rock!!

Thanks Dave, now I finally know how to remilitarize the anschluss.
You never beat allegations

I would think getting the motorization drive to then make max unit size light tank division with military police is best then for garrision.

This really works! Thanks bro
I've tried this 3 times now, and it only worked once so far. But great tip nonetheless!
Merry Christmas FeedBack!
not sure for the marine didn't try it before , any suggest of the starting time to research the marine? maybe mid of 1938? or early??
First research instead electronics
I've try it , and it felt really good
Hope to enjoy another stream though~ or something new

I think the game could go for some kind of fleet builder for navy. Something like you see in another paradox interactive game Stellaris.

Siam would not change its name to Thailand until 1939.
What mods do you use?
does building research facilities in territories with a dam benefit form the extra construction speed?
It does!
Merry Chrimas

What is the production % mod you use mate?
Guys can someone mark the path of the focuses as 1 2 3 in the focus tree? A photo would be very helpful.
