Don’t be nervous they’ll just ask simple questions like work history,questions about yourself and what you’ll do in situations when under pressure. Long as you’ve worked in customer service then you’ll be good everything else you’ll get trained in. Good luck
So at the end of the day you run a server report so all of your cash that your table give you for the check whether they need change or not you have to give them the receipt that you received from the check you have to enter it in the system everything has to be accounted for. You can say that you cashed a table out but you still have to type that in the system or else the check will not be closed out. It’ll show up how many cash tables you had because you have to put it in the system so it’ll show up. They’ll know you paid with cash because you literally have to type it in the system or the check will be on the screen your whole shift. They can also give you the money of the check along with the tip and say keep the change but then you type the exact amount of the check in the system and keep the change for yourself. At the end of the day it’ll say on your server report how much you have to give ihop which is the deduction from your cash paid tables. I hope this helps

Hey I think a to-go specialist is different than a host. I used to be a host and we took to-go orders in person and on the phone and as a server we did the same as well but usually the servers pull them out the window and prepare them so that the host only have to get them from the back and hand them out to the customers. The to-go specialist most likely focus solely on Togo orders so that they can make sure everything is in order and done absolutely correctly. Servers and host be so busy and honestly doing Togo orders can be a bit much.
