I can't take my eyes off Lin, the way she moves is so graceful, she is very hypnotic to watch. Her early departure from Ace of Base was big loss for the world of music, the band could've been a legendary group if she had continued. In 1994, The Sign outsold every group and artist the US, only The Lion King soundtrack sold more albums, that's one heck of an accomplishment for a band no one in the US knew before 1993.

This is definetely one of their greatest songs ever! And this was a wonderful performance of the whole group.... No matter what people may think.... Watching and listening to them has always been a honour and the greatest experience of all times

Both Linn and Jenny sang live throughout the concert, but over pre-recorded vocal tracks in addition to live background singers, so it was a blended vocal mix throughout.
It's so great to find an actual live performance. Everything else I've found appears to be them lip syncing. I realize that it's cheaper and easier for groups to do that on live TV shows and such, but I always like to hear what artists sound like in real life compared to their albums. This is a really good example of how great singers can duplicate in real life what they worked so hard on recording!
There's a video of them performing Living In Danger (one of my fav AoB songs!) with live vocals from the Brandenburg Gate during the '94 MTV Europe music awards which I thought sounded great!

en este presentacion en el festival de viña,a lynn ,le dio un ataque de panico antes de salir al escenario,ya q al ver la cantidad de fans(25.000) y a las reiteradas preguntas de los periodistas chilenos ,si tenian miedo de que fueran pifiados x el monstruo,lynn colapso... x suerte pudo salir y brindarnos toda su belleza y talento.
ace of base,visito chile 4 veces,y este show en el festival de viña,fue una de las ultimas presentaciones de lynn con la banda.

At 4:40 I expected them to go up the pitch, which is the high point of the song, but they never go up. Sad to never see repeat studio performance. :(
+Peter Panda Ah yes, we talked about this on another video. It's too bad because Linn sounds super-cute when she goes that high, but she can't do it when her voice is tired from singing a concert and it's as loud as this one is. She really can sing this part with no help from equipment (no tricks--not with these singers), but only in the quiet environment of a studio (or maybe a relatively quiet venue/show, but with the heavy bass on this song, probably still not). Unfortunately, it's the nature of Ace of Base. If they only played light acoustic backing music, like some lucky singers get to sing to, then Linn and Jenny could sing everything and wouldn't get so tired doing it, but much of the band's music is very loud and heavy, so it is very difficult for these girls with their soft voices to sing over it (even singers who have louder, more powerful voices often lip-sync to certain parts of songs because touring is really, really hard and taxing). Ace of Base therefore was always more of a studio band.
In hindsight, doing as many shows of this kind as they did that year cost them their future (in part). Later that same year Linn, due to various technical factors (including a glitchy in-ear monitor) in addition to cumulative vocal fatigue, was unable to sing to her own standards in a concert, and appeared to have a panic attack on stage. Jenny struggled in that concert, too (as she does these days sometimes), but it didn't bother her. Linn is a different person, though--she is far more critical and self-conscious, and sounding bad devastated her. She held herself together until the end, trying her best to perform, but that was the beginning of the end for her as a willing live performer, and was a contributing factor (one of several) to her making the decision to have less to do with Ace of Base. Less Linn meant less success and ultimately no Linn meant no Ace of Base.
@rbrtck Wow, that's really interesting. Which concert did this happen at? There are of course, many theories - but this is the first I've heard about a specific stage incident being so much of the catalyst for Linn's waning interest in performing. What a shame.

The unfortunate thing is that this song should have been the lead single for this album - it was one of the best tracks on it and would have propelled the albums success much better
