Oh my, I too have been so grossed out by those bores. I have cut open the stem and eradicated the disgusting bore. I nearly vomited so I have now injected BT in the main stem and it worked well. This year I have ducks and they are suppose to do a good job of eating bugs so I'm hoping all their rooting around all winter will help to eliminate the issue so I don't have to work as hard haha
Beautiful garden! you could almost use a tooth brush to knock those nymphs into the water. Also quick tip! I know those gloves are great for breathability but for more detailed work..get a box of latex gloves in your size. They have really good dexterity and they keep out the cold/wet if you garden in the fall. subbed!

I drown the eggs but you can squish them really easily too. As far as the adults I either drown them in the soapy water or squish them but its pretty nasty! Lol

I do! It goes into the plant so washing is not always enough. And, perhaps even worse, it kills all the bees and butterflies and beneficial pollinators you want in your garden!

You have to wash your vegetables any way s0o I dont have a problem with Sevin dust.

Duct tape works great for getting eggs off the bottom of leaves!
And dont use on blooms
