Just here because I got a 144 on my practice test thanks to my tutor and videos from getsummath but I still have a few more things to study until Thursday to get a few more points.
Update:I did my math test and got 140/145 so only 5 points off! I'm gonna study like crazy and try again next week. Time for more getsummath tutorials.
You're on the right track! (85 + 72 + 78 + x)÷4 = 80. Then, you can multiply both sides by 4: 85 + 72 + 78 + x = 320 Add terms on the left: 235 + x = 320 Subtract 235 on both sides: x = 85

Oh man, bummer! There are different versions of the Ready and the actual test, so it might be that the ready was an easier version and the test you took was a harder version. Next time you take the actual, it'll be a different version, so hopefully one that is less difficult and more similar to the Ready that you took! For the bowling u made a small error. Didn't affect much but when finding the median and putting them in order from smallest to biggest, you put 146, 161 when the next one should have been 158 lol

For the last question , is there a way to do it with algebraic expression like 85 + 72 + 78 + X ?
You're on the right track!
(85 + 72 + 78 + x)÷4 = 80.

Yesterday I took the GED Ready test and got 172. But today I took the real test and got 144. The question was much harder on the test then the ready.
