This woman is just loved and admired. Period. She was badass, during a time when woman were not really allowed to be. A groundbreaker, one of the all time great wise cracking dames, who like most of us, had a lot on her plate in life.
Let that sink in. This was a terrific compilation of images. Very humanizing moments.
I highly recommend her autobiography. Very enjoyable reading. From her I learned to accept failures and successes. She said they are both on your plate and she was taught to eat everything on your plate.
I grew up in the 1950s, living in NYC but was too young to know great stars like Rosalind Russell were appearing in Broadway shows. In spite of what we hear today from those who weren't even alive then, it was a wonderful time to be alive. Really a treat seeing her walking on the beach, at home, just being herself. Very special video. Thank you.
I had to watch this again...but it made me want to cry! It's so bittersweet. I just love her! She's the best. Period.
A lovely lady with huge charisma and warmth, and a wonderful actress. She is one of those special people who are timeless. She would look right at home in 2020, her personality and style are so modern! Loved her in THE WOMEN, a great comic turn as the ghastly, gossiping Sylvia!
This was a treasure. I loved all the clips. I especially enjoyed the clips of Wonderful Town. I never thought I'd see it in color from the stage. You could tell Ms. Russell had a zest for life and brought joy to those around her.
Beautiful collection of Miss Russell's home videos. She was a gracious, gorgeous and talented human being. Will never be forgotten. From an Aussie Oscars fan.....
made me cry, she was a great human being..
Now THAT is a star.
pure legend - what a lovely human being
Love it! Love her! Can't you tell how much she ADORED her son? Having 2 boys of my own, that's the part that touched me so much. Thanks for posting. She was the greatest.
Thank you so much for your comment! I adore her (I guess that's obvious from my other videos) and yes, her relationship with her son just gets me, too
Off to find your other videos...She's one of my absolute favorites:)
i'm glad!
This is such a marvelous treat!❤️❤️❤️
How wonderful! Thanks so much! ❤❤❤
Lovely compilation of home movies, tribute to a lovely person.
Never mind Hepburn and Davis. Rosalind Russell was absolutely brilliant.
Desi this video is beyond words, I believe Roz herself would adore it. Everything you make about her shows so much love and heart. you can feel your love for her every time you watch and I adore it.
well you couldn't be more right because after all, it's ROZ :) but thank you, thank you!
What a classy lady I hate the word classy but there is no other word to describe her.
I have always loved and revered Rosalind Russel. Now more than ever
i'm crying, she was such an amazing an versatile actress and human being!
Rosalind Russell is like a mother I would have loved to have. No, she would have actually been more like a really fun great grandmother that you only get to cherish your time with for a very short time. She was a charming and very nice person and I think she is on my top 10 list if actors and actresses I miss from the world today.
A most human of human beings. She radiated kindness and warmth....and it showed
a legend...
She was gorgeous and a great actor.
Thank you entirely for uploading this video! I love these clips although I really disliked the music. Rosalind was beautiful, funny and truly talented❤

She was before my time but I am a bigger fan of her's than most celebrities these days.
An American Treasure - we will not see her like again. RIP Sweet Lady.

My favorite is the trouble with Angel's. 1966.
Great Video!

She was a naturally funny person judging from the first 15 seconds 👍

....and its not a "sexy" beautiful, just beautiful!
The home movies are excellent quality. The "Wonderful Town" actor at 2:49 (left) and 3:05, etc is Henry Lascoe. Also, looks like a brief "Auntie Mame" clip at 4:51.
Great videos, music not fitting at all
Love older movies. My Mom mentioned her and His Girl Friday with Cary Grant. Such a fun movie. She was very talented.
She had an amazing career!
Loved the clips, hated the music which was inappropriate and from the wrong era.
Wow! A great lady on and off the screen and stage.
