Great work Khal! I have a question, will your Graflex Crystal Chassis you show in this video be compatible to work with a Vaders Vault 1"inch blade holder? Also, is that Chassis strong enough to withstand Full Speed Heavy Dueling? Thanks in advance!
I've bought three of these expensive sabers and none of them have the force awakens sounds on there which model do I buy that has the sounds from force awakens
There is no model that you buy that comes like this. I made this one according to the customers specifications. I would speak to the person you bought them from to see what your options are.
It was in a random can in my garage. It was a touch up paint for our 1993 Toyota Previa which was in red, but the can is so damn old, about 3/4 of the writing has come off. I'll have to speak to my father to see if he can remember the name of the colour.
From what I know about these you can do moderate dueling with them but it's not recommended because of the detail. And I would feel terrible if I dropped one of these beauties if you're looking for a saber that you can spar with I would go with Ultra Saber's they're pretty cheap and they are very tough and hold up to some pretty tough beating. But Ultra Saber's is not going to give you that highly detailed look that the more expensive sabers have but if it breaks your not out over $1000 of light saber and they are pretty easy to repair.
Sabers like this go anywhere between $1000-$3000 depending on the detail and the time of work put into it. I just bought a custom graphics saber similar to this for 1200 bucks and it had a crystal inside it off of eBay. I'm pretty new to the saber community and eventually I want to learn to build my own but right now I'm just collecting an assortment of different Sabres so I can get a wide range of the different models out there and understand how they work because there is no official saber school and I learned by hands-on rather than watching somebody show me. But the saber community seems to be growing rapidly with new companies coming out every year and I think that anybody who wants to get into this community especially on the higher end bases should probably learn how to construct their own light sabers just my thoughts this is a lot of fun and I'm glad I found this community but definitely try eBay if you're on a budget like I am. Generally people will sell older models to get money for new models pretty much like how the gun trade works I recently sold a older Beretta to get a new umbrella LOL
When I get my park/korbanth graflex I'll definitely be requiring your services, spot on that saber mate
This is exactly the one I want.
AWESOME!
You are very skilled!
Amazing work as always. Any plans for a how to sound install video with one of your KR sabers? Maybe with a Tri Cree led and FOC?

I just found out its a NB3.0 so I guess I can get TFA fonts and put them on my saber lol
Khal, what paint color do you use for the graflex button to get it screen accurate?

+KR Sabers Ok thanks for the reply!
hey man, what did you use to get the clamp card to stay in place?
Rory Tayler it should just stay from friction. if not i have seen a lot of people use a magnet
how d=you connect the soundboard to the LED if the crystal reveal is in the way? Where do the wires go?
Budderman its a secret 😉
I would wager a guess that the one or two of the metal bars in the crystal cage are actually metal pipes and the wiring would route through them
Khal
Is that inner chassis a "shapeways" product ??
G
Nope. It was designed and produced by me.
I want to purchase one. How would I do this?
You can get the empty one at parksabers
I want to get one that's all done. :)
Stephen Poon go on ebay and spend like $2000 and you will get a high quality, finished, crystal reveal graflex
I couldn't find the font either?
How duel ready would you say this saber is?
