    Especially on cable news. You'll see entire panels with no BM except a transformer, talking about "what BM think"

      Interesting observation! How can that transformer tell you anything about the way I think. They want you to call them women.😂😂😂😂

    They don't want to hear the positive things black men do; that concept is not profitable.

    Salute to the King of Receipts Tariq Nasheed ✊🏾
    One of the many reasons I stopped watching mainstream media and news is their portrayals of Foundational Black Americans - especially Our men. Even in commercials. We're portrayed as dancing and singing to sell products, butch and moist, or incompetent.

    Tariq is Right and Exact! I recommend we read Dr. Earl Ofari Hutchinson's book, "The Assassination of the Black Male Image", Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu's Three Volume book, "Countering the Conspiracy to Destroy Black Boys", and Dr. Tommy Curry's book, "The Man Not".

    All those movies were based on actual experiences. Two were true stories and two were based on actual events.
    We need better representation yes. But we need to fix our black community and black economy.
    Now everyone is woke and they can see it’s a nightmare.

    • @RonHallKungFuBro

      The economy is not in black people's control to fix. In the 50-plus years since "black capitalism" was introduced to us by "Richard Nixon" the same guy who gave us " The War on Crime", it currently produces less than 1% of the nation's GDP, keep thinking you can compete against someone who has a dollar for every penny you have.

    I love that drc isn't on this angry red pill type of energy that just ends up making black men look weak. I would love to see the rest of this interview. I swear Tariq has look the same for damn near 20 years.

      You and your perspective represent another problem in that many black people have adopted and continue to promote the white narrative about black people for their own social and economic come up.

    No Tariq stop claiming the term woke!

    • @quintinr.6760
      @quintinr.6760 3 місяці тому

      The word “woke” has been around for decades 😂 Meaning always be aware of the sneaky tactics of them “folks”!
      They are not like US! Just like older black people use to say about them.

    • @theultimatenewplayer9341
      @theultimatenewplayer9341 3 місяці тому +40

      It's literally our word. It just got co-opted by the political far left where they change the definition to be about every marginalized groups but it's heavily focused on the alphabet crowd. Then after that the far right co-opted it so now woke is a catch-all term for everything I don't like.
      Woke went from "black people understanding their history and and being consciously aware of the system that we live under" to being about Non-marginalized people being aware of the plight of marginalized groups in general with a heavy emphasis on Autobotphobia.

      @@theultimatenewplayer9341right before the takeover an audience of yt ppl ask Obama about the woke movement amongst black people he laughed. Like these are ignorant people just ignore them. Then after that they started attaching themselves to it.

    • @Knowthyledge

      Brothers and sisters were using the term “ conscious” since the 60s! Ironically (or maybe not) talking about some of the same things we’re talking about today. The term “woke” isn’t even 10 years old, but it’s just another way they gaslight us and our culture by altering it and weaponizing it.
