To add to that if u have heat seaker on ur first steps when u swice will be guided so u don't blow ur coverage when u switch. Heat seaker off u could potentially move ur defender out of the play when switched.

Zan give quarters overload a try. 3dl,1lb,8 dbs ...8 guys on the line of scrimmage. Pass rush is instant, and you can't tell where the coverage is coming from. Heavy rat 1*

Man defense is tough usually in the beginning is bc madden is trying to make a real game bc the league is match and man heavy. Madden Pros complain and most are sheep. Now we have no defense 😒
I’m putting up 50 plus points the cpu is putting up 60 plus points on my franchise and I’m playing on all madden. I can not stop anyone. I go online. I can’t stop anyone. The defense this year is horrible. The hit stick is horrible and hardly works even on an ideal hit. Why can’t anyone tackle? Running backs are bouncing off everyone and wr and te are bounces off everyone. I watched 6 players on defense in the hole not tackle the running back and the cpu takes it to the house or gain massive yards. This is the first year I’m considering buying help. I ordered another controller just to practice defense. I feel like throwing my controller through my tv. I can’t stand this game. Why make it impossible to play defense?

The skill level is all madden with my friend on with me who throw for 500 and 7 tds both games against the computer. I’m using the texans his the jags. Trust me it was insanely hard I was down 21 at one point won in the 4th throw a game winner and finally held the bears to no points. It’s really ridiculous.

How do you switch to a defender behind the line of scrimmage close to the qb? The amount of sacks im missing because they dont attempt the tackle is absurd. Tapping B as it wouod be closest player to the ball was how its worked forever.

What he is specifically speaking on is the new "switch stick" feature where you flick the analog in the direction of a specific defender on the field. EA counter being able to use that feature if your "user" is in a blitz assignment so you cant "switch stick" at all. The work around that would be holding the O/B button. Lastly, you might wana do some research on Zan, he was a pro player and competed 09-13 and he also used to write the madden strategy guides lolol

Click right stick to collapse the pocket and send the defenders towards the qb. Thank me later
