When PPI/H2 blocker fails, on a question, the answer was get 24 hr esophageal pH monitoring? Will they usually only have pH monitoring or EGD as an answer choice?
Good question. Oftentimes that will be the case. Per the algorithm i’ve read in Nature, you double the PPI dose first and then can progress to EGD or pH monitoring
