Hi Elle, this was absolutely beautiful, and I could relate to everything you were saying. I used to have a garden flag in my backyard that said. “ Be still and know that I am God.” After a couple of years, it faded and got tattered, so it is no longer there, but by coming out on my patio and sing that flag, it was such a great reminder to just sit out here with the trees and the birds and the blue skies and to be still And listen. when I go out on my patio, I automatically think about being still. I can do that when I am outside, but not so much when I am inside. My mind gets noisy in the house and I am thinking of all the things that I want to accomplish. The only place I take the time to sit down is when I am outside, I never sit in my house. I need to work on Bing still wherever I am. thank you for encouraging me and inspiring me, you truly are a gem. Love you, Sheila.
I love your garden flag - and how appropriate that it was over your garden (the perfect time to be still) and I love even without the flag, it makes you think of that. Love to you my friend. ♥
This is so true! The world is so loud. Just not that long ago when we would go out to eat or to a park, it would be quiet. Just people sitting and conversing with one another. Now everywhere has loud tv's, music, etc blaring. No room to just hear your own thoughts and have quiet. I love music and I love to listen to all kinds of music. However, there are times that I need to just sit on my patio or porch and hear nothing. Some people call it meditating but I've always called it marinating. I like to be marinated in God's word. I want to be a sponge and just let it soak in. Sometimes its hard for that to happen with all the noise all around but it's so worth it!

Hi Elle I’m 73 and have no excuse for not taking the time to be still with the Lord! Since the pandemic I’ve gotten into the habit of watching UA-cam and a few streaming services constantly!!! The lord has been ever so gently but loudly speaking to me to put him first!! Don’t get me wrong I pray all day long as I go about my day but seldom am I silent other than when I’m reading my bible and sometimes there’s still something playing in the background!! My Lord is so good to me and I’m ashamed of myself. Thank you for your words today the Lord has used you once again in my life. God bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you and give you peace. PS- memorizing scripture has been so hard for me ( your suggestion from a video several weeks ago) I’ve only gotten 4 almost 5 😊completed ❤ but I haven’t given up!

Oh Elle, you answered my prayer! This weekend I prayed for silence and quietness. I have so much noise in my head and I’m guilty of talking too much. The first Bible verse I memorized was Psalm 46:10. In today’s video, I noticed how your inner spirit showed through beautifully. It makes you so radiant and even more beautiful than you are! This is so good! I noticed when I pray, I do love him and praise him but I come to him with all my requests and say Amen. I realized that I don’t take time to be still and hear what He has to say. It’s like visiting a friend and telling them all about my issues and never hearing their side and leaving right away. But I also noticed if I ever do stay still my mind tends to wander. I don’t know how to practice that. The good thing though is I have a Christian song in my heart at all times When I wake up, during the day, when I go to bed, even when I get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Thank you Elle, I really loved this and one of my favorite verses is the one you mentioned, Be still and know that I am God. In the craziness of this world we truly do need to take quiet time and listen to his guidance. He loves us so much and doesn’t want us to suffer through mental anguish and heartache that is sometimes self inflicted or comes at us from other angles. His word tells us we have not because we ask not. All we need to do is ask and quietly wait upon him, he will provide the answers and the guidance. Love and God Bless you and Mark! ❤

Thank you Elle, I truly believe that you are God’s vessel to communicate to us, you are so good at it, I understand when you speak. Now at my age I can’t memorize anything anymore. This couldn’t have come at a better time for me right now. I’m 70 and just got tintinitus, I’ve been dealing with how to deal with it for 6 weeks now. My GP told me I had bubbles in my inner ear and to use Flonase for 10 days and gave me prednisone for 5 days and it would clear up. I went back to tell him it was still there, he told me to give it 3 more weeks and to try and pop my ears at least 16 times a day. Did that still have it, told me he’s done what he thought would clear it up and that now I have to go see an ENT, now I have to wait 3 weeks more just to get in to see the ENT. My husband has it, it’s been 2 years this month that he’s been dealing with it. I’ve seen how it has changed him and I’ve prayed to please heal him, I’ve been the one that has to deal with whatever needs to be done in our lives/household, he can’t deal with people, he gets too anxious. I’ve done a lot of reading on it and it’s brain related and they say not to think about the noise or you will be training your brain that you want to hear it. That’s been very hard for me to learn, I’ve been praying for the Lord to help me be able to do that. I know he has a plan for each of us but for both of us having it now is disheartening at times but I just keep trying to tell myself that it could be worse and that kinda helps me get thru each day. So this massage today really hit home. Bless you🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️

Let a woman learn quietly with submissiveness...i wonder why it is that women are expected to be submissive, yet men can have plenty to say?
There can only be one person in charge. If you read the Bible, this is how the roles are to be. This is no different than my having a boss at work and he needs to be in charge. I may not always agree with him and may even express my thoughts but, at the end of the day, it is his decision. I also think women have been given the harder job as we can handle it lol! ♥
