That's a new fear of mine, especially since I have ADHD and research said because of that it's more likely to cheat. However not giving up. Thanks Nick for the video you are truly a big help!!

Loved this video, Nick. I don't suffer from this (yet), but explaining POCD and Harm OCD in this same fashion would be really good, as there's plenty of false beliefs surrounding that topic, and of course, stigma. The best way to dive deep into uncertainty and be comfortable in it is knowing that any human is capable of any horrible deed, but there's more than one reason as to why they wouldn't do bad things, the same way you've explained that anyone, even you, could cheat, but the reason you don't do it is because it'd cause a lot of problems and distress. Although, knowing OCD and how much doubt it can bring, and the fact that it latches onto anything, it's a hard battle, for sure. 😂

Absolutely Godot! I can ask Sam to cover this because I believe with his background and POCD recovery it can be covered well!

As always an awesome insight. I find myself recovered from OCD on the basis of criteria like I don't care about setbacks,I don't keep in check of every thought that passes by,i can now see them as something separate of me,i dont care if they keep on coming for lifetime. But I am stuck at my addiction to porn and masturbation. I don't know why I end up losing to this habit even if I control it for a very long time. Nick It would be a great help if you can make a video on how to get to know what insecurities or fear might be contributing to this habit Or this is just a habit which I have developed as a coping mechanism to cope with sexual discomfort. Any tips or suggestions to deal with this or to understand the underlying fear would be greatly helpful.

Hey Danish! I can absolutely make a video on this as I work with dozens of people who struggle with this. The most important thing to remember is this - I failed hundreds of times before I got this right. I am very happy I kept pushing through, one time I failed at 238 days and it sent my OCD for a total spiral. Keep pushing forward Danish! You can do it!

Suddenly bf feels like brother. Advice needed 😭
Can anyone help me or give me some advice on this please? 😭I’ve been experiencing rocd for 3 months now! Until last week my anxiety was around the thought that “ Do I love my bf”? And from yesterday it’s like do I love my bf as my bf or my brother? My boyfriend is 2 months younger than me and we have been in a relationship for more than 1.5 years now! Suddenly yesterday I remembered about him being 2 months younger than me and started panicking thinking that he’s my brother 😭😭😭 For the past one year I’ve only seen him as my soulmate and now suddenly when such thoughts pop up in my head I feel very uncomfortable to even be around him 😭 I’ve continually been checking my feelings for him like do I love him as my partner or brother! This is so sad and freaking me out . Even when I feel like I wanna spend some quality time with him this thought is just continually pestering me 😭😭😭 Is 2 months a huge age gap for him to be my partner? Is he like my brother? Why am I even thinking like this? Please give me some eye opening advice on this. Will I ever be able to feel that “he’s my bf kinda love “ ever again??? What am I supposed to do? 😭

Hey User - I am sorry you're struggling that must not be easy. Have you seen our ROCD playlist yet? If you haven't this is a great place to start.
