Show is really good, and yes Mo Fei is an amazing lead. It's nice to see that in the face of her boyfriends mother, she was calm, and collected. She didn't get intimidated and was able to express herself in a eloquent and respectful way that still shows that she was standing her ground and would not be swayed.
I loved Mingxuan's father, he wants what's best for his son and over the years has learned how to deal with his wife. Mo Fei was not backing down nor was she intimidated by his mother, she respectfully but her in her place. Now she might talk babyish at times with Mingxuan but when she has to stand her ground, she stands her ground no matter who it is.
Finally. A male lead who knows how to make his stand. I’m so done with mother’s and father’s acting like they’re all high and mighty as if they rule their children’s life.
