This is my favorite Glee comp. I love the MJ/Janet section.
Artie absolutely KILLS in any MJ song
When I first watched Glee I also hated Rachel for the first couple seasons but after season three she became a lot less intense and she was not always able to have the solo or the main storyline. But I agree that going back and rewatching these episodes it is frustrating when you see characters like Mercedes and Mike and Tina not getting many solos or storylines.
I love the survivor/I will survive mashup :P
People hating on Rachel nothing original here, I don’t get people who forget it’s a show don’t take it soo seriously and Rachel’s great sooooo

With no Rachael, they each had take the opportunity to sing a song, who knows when they would get another chance.
Something I didn't know about We Are Young that I learned years after Glee had ended is that the song was released and had moderate success, but then Glee covered it and it gained enough momentum to get noticed by Chevrolet, who decided to license it for a Superbowl ad and that's when the song and the band really took off
I honestly think Santana may be better than Rachel, she can hit the same notes as her but also has an added rasp that Rachel doesn't have
