I lived in Navarre and worked in Pensacola until about 2 years ago. No boat but I fished from Navarre beach west to Opal beach and caught tons of fish.
WHEN IT COMES TO FISHING I HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE,I'M POSITIVE FISHING IS THE MOST FUN YOU CAN HAVE ,IT'S GOOD THERAPY TOO AND YOU CAN'T BEAT RED SNAPPER TO CATCH OR EAT.
Up there you guys can fill your limits close to shore, use up the state's quota, then the guys down in the Gulf area around Tampa have to hope there will be a season (sometime keeping their engines running with people on board waiting to see if they can leave the dock) and still have to make a three hour run to get to the Red Snapper. At least 90 feet or so I think? I think they were talking about splitting the state up to make it fair, but I'm behind in my info. Had to move back to NC. :(
As a commercial Fisherman I'm always looking for new recipes n ways too cook fish.. I hope to see more catch n cook my props to your wife Brant y'all have something special going keep it up🤙

What kinda line you using on that Fierce? And you should come on down and fish Crystal River with me just past the CR marker dropping pinfish and cigar minnows, and live shrimp. Right time of year it's killer.
i cant catch stuff, i live in corpus, however never been to the bay yet, but the laguna has only given me little non keeper redfish, no trout, just tiny little redfish, however the next cold front should be soon, and i have a canal home, so i may be catching reds in my backyard, the laguna has never given me any stupid hardheads, those live in my canal, well ill be waiting for the reds.

I hear you. If i take a guided trip in galveston, i catch reds and flounder. If i fish by myself... .... i only catch those damn hardheads!
