I love your videos big guy! I am a retired/ disabled Navy veteran from Mobile Alabama! Been away for a long time and I’ve never fished in Pensacola! Your fishing videos have led me to add Pensacola on my list of places to fish! Thank you for that! You are one of my go to fishing UA-camrs when I can’t go fishing myself! Great info about setting the drag! Thank you Brant! Keep up the great work! God bless!🤗
My wife wouldn't eat sheepshead cause she said it was ugly. I filleted and skinned one and broiled it , she said it was the best snapper she ever had. Lol
Thanks alot bro I did enjoy your show until the comment made here like I said I'm a vet fought for my country and turned up in a wheel chair you can call me a v or a beg but that's not it it's one fisherman helping each other that's what we do in new York God bless you and your show angleup and your buddy with the comments
Live shrimp is #1 “go too” bait. They even manage to produce on slow post front days. Something is always biting live shrimp somewhere. I’ve even had days when I had to move around a lot, from the creek, to the bridges, to piers, to jetties to the surf. Many ways you can rig them and work them around in different spots and situations to figure out what’s actually biting.
You really do make me miss home. I remember when I was a kid back in the seventies and eighties you could go to the banana river or the Indian River in catch blue crab and shrimp all day long. Now you're lucky to see anything.
Hi Brant please take care your reel , I have a DAIWA BG15, BG 20 still in used for 20 yr old now ! Every time after fishing clean your reel up with old & take the line off.... this is how we take care our babies .... ! Take some time to do it ... !
Did I miss out on the rod and reel. Bought my first boat last year. 21ft Glasstream center console my son and I rebuilt it. Can't wait to get down to Pensacola.
I live in Texas now but originally from Tampa, these videos really make me miss home and the ocean. Living inland fishing lakes and creeks just doesn’t compare to the Gulf.

And, Brandt, thank you for the interesting trip and offer. There's a twinge of nostalgia whenever I see one of your vids. I spent a couple of years in P-cola in flight training - one of the highlights of my life. Thanks again.
I grew up in Biloxi, come go with me and the cajun crew. We have a good time and would be happy to have you. Plenty of specks, white, ground mullet, flounder, sheepshead well you know. We also throw the net for mullet. ( Biloxi Bacon ) Look forward to hearing from you.
I wish i could have that reel love to fish and dont have any good rod and reels it sucks but hopefully one day i will get a new set up love the vids thoe brant keep fishing
ATTENTION! To all of you begging for a worn out reel (he NEVER said the rod was included!). Go to Wal-Mart, I fished the first 20 years of my life with $20 to $30 combos. And I caught MONSTERS on 6# line as a kid (10 years old ish). You DON'T "need" a Lamborghini to drive a mile, you just need a car....
Brant, a few summers ago we fished an oyster reef in the Louisiana marsh. We caught speckled trout immediately. We noticed dolphins all around the reef. We still caught fish. Fish stopped after many other boats showed up. Cleaning the fish they all had eggs. All of them. This reef was in 4 to 5 feet of water. We theorized the dolphins were circling the reef to cause the trout to lay their eggs. What do you think?
Great vid. Heading down your way in late March. Will be contacting you about an offshore/nearshore trip, and about buying a rental property. Love the vids!!
Happy New year Brant n your wife enjoy watching you catch the different types of of fish .take care of your self maybe we will get a new video in a day.or two

I'm a fresh water guy. Sheepshead in Michigan are considered a "junk" fish, not sure they're the same as yours. I'm planning a trip to Florida. What's your favorite salt water fish to eat? Thanks for the video.

I use to get sick every time I would change climates when visiting my family in Ozark Arkansas and come back to Louisiana or from Louisiana to the mountains. My guess you he climates where you were is opposite of Pensacola, or you may or picked something up from the plane. Either way you better not mess around with it, a little girl died here a couple weeks ago due to the flu and the pnemonia it developed into. Hope you feel better
