The best way to answer your question would be that SingFlex allows the possibility to double the amount of containers per lift cycle (i.e. from the quayside, to the ship and back to the quayside). The systems strength lies in the fast swop between standard and tandem mode without the use of ground staff and its flexibility to handle different container configurations, heights and weights all at the same time. Even in tandem mode it can still lift a single fully loaded container and leave the second spreader empty.
