Very nice driving thanks for the vid can't wait to go to spa with mine ! Do you have the harness bar with harnesses ? Cause I'm hesitating about it, look like a lot of work and cutting in the original plastic make me feel a little bit sad, what do you think of it ? Thanks a lot and again nice vid !
Thanks! You will have a lot of fun in spa! Of course i do have a harness bar. Please think about safety and do not worry about cutting into a piece of plastic🙏
Nice driving. Are you sure those Caterham’s are 485’s? 280/tonne more than a 111r and the 111r seems to hold in terms of acceleration. I’d imagine these are more likely 270’s or maybe under driven 300’s
Just watched another video with a Caterham 485, the thing is that their aerodynamics are really bad, so on the straits (where Spa got quite some of them) the are loosing too much time in comparison...
@@grossmeister1181 I know what you’re saying but top speed is predominantly governed by HP and gearing, granted the Caterham’s are geared for between 125 and 140 depending on engine hp, 485’s should be seeing 140+. The Aero of the caterham isn’t so bad that it would reduce the top speed enough to change it too much especially with the aero screens that these have. Besides in the video out low speed corners, the 111r appears to be maintaining the gap in acceleration, which is why I’m thinking these are 270’s or 300’s which would be more equal in acceleration, although I’d still expect the Caterham’s to be faster even at that power level
@@IamDude2 Like I said, watched a comparison on a 485R vs. an Elise FE 240, both 240hp, 1000m drag race. You could see how the Elise made up the speed in the final part to win with 1,5m ahead. So that's the drag of the aerodynamics, plus the gearing, engine power curve etc. But all in all the Caterham isn't made for tracks like Spa with long straights and fast sections
@@grossmeister1181 equal hp it will be the gearing, aero doesn’t make enough of a difference to create that kind of top speed deficit. But like I said in my original post, I’m not talking about top end speed I’m talking about low speed acceleration! A 111r is 190bhp, a 485 is 240. If a 485 out accelerates an FE240, then it should be on the horizon against a 111r before any top speed differential comes into play.
@@IamDude2 That's true, out of the corners the 485 should out accelerate the 111R. But these are semi-pro drivers, so maybe the Caterham driver isn't used to the car? The Elise also has a somewhat understeery geo setup from the factory and heavily reacts to a proper geometry setup, maybe the Caterham is still within factory settings thus not the best cornering performance? It's many questions, few answers though. But the drag from the aerodynamics do have quite an effect, especially on these straights. But then again, the 240hp should cope with the 192hp from the 111R.
Whats the engine that the elise s have? It seems a close match between the two
Very nice driving

Merci JUJU🙏 Spa is fun with any car😉
Many Lotus on track. Lucky rich Belgians.
Just subscribed.
Wow really fast laps
Wow! Nice Driving. Is your Elise 111R Stock? It feels better than my car :-)
Thanks! Stock engine, nitron 46track suspension, quaife diff and yoko a052 tires😉

Brilliant driving!!! How are you able to heel and toe so easily on the 111R? I find it nearly impossible!
Thanks! I create myself an adapter plate wich i could mount on the gas pedal
Very good driving well done, bad luck towards the end but hey:)
Which shifter is that?
Stock shifter. Raised about 4cm
Yeah! Finally new upload! :D
Damn you were going quite good, any damage to car?
No damage🙏
@@team_sigi That's great! Hope next year I'll finally go for trackday at spa with mine Elise.
@@team_sigimate? Have you ever wiped intake camshaft on your 2zzge ? (Corolla tsport owner)
Elle a la santé cette 111r . Il a eu des modifs le 2zz ?

Why the car went oversteer at the end? Because you lift, right ?
No. I went too far over the curb. There was a hole between the curb and some brickstones. You can see the hit.
Wow!
Salut ! Très chouette vidéo, la vue est vraiment immersive !! Est-ce que c'est possible de connaitre les modifs de ta 111R et de la 111S ?
Salut! Both stock engine with nitron track suspension and quaife differential. YokoA052 tires✌️
