Quincy was a great guest. Your interview skills are improving as well. Meeting heroes is a fabulous addition to your channel. Keep up the good work!
What a beautiful and cathartic interview.
Quincy is such a relaxed and friendly guy. Great interview
Great interview Nate. Two very intelligent drum masters talking about deep concepts that are crucial for musical drumming. Loved it. Thank you!
Thank you for this wonderful conversation! I have been devouring Quincy's UA-cam lessons for years. I watch many of them numerous times. Between Quincy's videos, downloads and store, it;s a top notch education at your fingertips. ( I enjoy your content as well, and was happy to see your talents recognized by Drumeo),
Two of the best teachers, this is gold
You’re killing it bro. These interviews greatly enhance what was already an awesome channel. I’m sure you already are but try and interview everyone!
Just popping in to say I'm thankful you're still regularly uploading content. Thanks for sticking around. #unintendedpuns
Fantastic interview. He’s a great player but you can tell he’s a great teacher too.
Loved this one, Nate. I’m a big Quincy fan, both his channel, but I only recently discovered his albums which are fantastic.
Prof! Love you man!
Quincy is a beautiful drummer and person.
Grat to see Q on this podcast. Hurrey for both of you guys
Two of my favourites sharing stories. Let's Goooooooo
Really great! I love eating up everything that Quincy puts out. And you Nate are doing really great 'Beato-esque' interviews but with my favourite drummers! (Dan Weiss, Quincy etc.) Keep it up!
Lot's of insights here. Nice to hear Neal Smith mentioned- that's a solid dude!
Great Teacher !!
Love listening to both of you, you've both improved my drumming skills endlessly 😊
Quincy’s channel is pretty good!! Great interview!
Love you 80/20 but Quincy is my man, because I am a lifetime Jazz listener - finally getting to playing and humbly learning- you both have been inspirations-thanks!
Great stuff !!
Great interview! Q is the best
Loved this interview! Didn't know Q spoke Japanese! Explains the Anpanman plushy in the background.
Thank you for that. This is gold.
how come you didn't put this on spotify? love all these interviews
Glad to hear Quincy mention Neal Smith. If the same person, I met Neal 17 years ago at a drum show in New Hampshire. We struck up something of a friendship for awhile. He was kind enough to attend a Day of Percussion in my state in 2009. Also, I've been subscribed to Quincy's channel for a couple of years where I've learned a lot about traditional jazz drumming.
Wonderful and insightful conversation!
Favorite Jazz Prof 🙌🥁
❤
I’d love to see a young cat like roni kaspi on here.
