may i say radu’s version is the most divine and ethereal i’ve ever heard,male and female sopranos sings equally beautiful but there’s something more special with a male soprano’s voice,it is as if it’s transporting me to another world,if farinelli’s voice is the closest or has resemblance even just for a bit w/ radu’s,,i won’t wonder why he is well celebrated during his time, i wish to hear more from radu❤❤
Incredible talent, extraordinary skill, and beautiful musicality and phrasing. I'm usually a fan of countertenors who train to hit that higher range, but a natural male soprano has such a unique sound. Not to mention that countertenors have a much lower range compared to a soprano. I know it's unfortunately due to a medical condition, but it's amazing how he managed to turn an early setback in life into something so special.
Days and weeks passing by, I come back again and again to this soulsoothing piece of heaven. Thank you, Radu, for being with us. Thank you, Maria, for sharing.

why we don’t have more recordings of him or performing operas around the world, singing beautiful arias for castrato, all this videos look very little updated. Also I think this is how castrati sounded, the sound is so pure, angelical, high, effortless and soprano like farinelli because they got contralto castrati too

Endocronological castrato - basically, he had a hormonal imbalance that delayed puberty to such an extent that his voice never broke even slightly. Obviously it did occur, as he has facial hair and normal male muscle structure, only likely in his twenties.
I wonder if it’s theoretically possible to get this sound from someone who went through puberty normally, but had their voice not change. I’m 16 and my voice is alto-ish, I’m more like Mitch Grassi or Chris Colfer or Russell Oberlin than this guy, but I do wonder if it’s possible to be like this guy.

His voice is angelic and so natural, is not like a Countertenor, this is a genuine male soprano voice. Not even Jaroussky or any other Countertenor is close to sound like this; It's amazing! But I think his voice is beautiful but weak, I think with a better technique he could be so much more amazing! The closest thing to a XIII century castrato.

by the way this man's voice is closer to the real castrati than Michael Maniaci, Michael has even admitted his voice PARTIALLY dropped during puberty, which is why his voice is thicker, lower, and darker than Radu's MODAL produced voice, which sits slightly higher still than Maniaci's.
The partial vocal chord transition explains why Maniaci's singing voice would not stand out as unusual in a line up of female sopranos. HIs speaking voice would also pass for a woman's but on the very thickest end of normal timbre for a woman, I guess because of his thicker, larger bones and body structure that the sound is resonating within. The castrato body size and shape would be more like Michael Maniaci's, who even has the characteristic castrato facial features, whereas Radu Marian went through puberty completely normally except that his vocal chords got damaged and stunted, and he is on the small size for a man, and also has completely normal rib cage proportions and so a normal adult male limit on his lung capacity. It's amazing to think that the castrati might have had the same sort of beautiful singing timbre as Marian, but slightly different sounding and also more powerful and with exceptional stamina due to the rest of the body being a more extreme version of Maniaci's.

Andres Becerril Guadarrama a castrato’s bones would also overdevelop, so they had much more powerful voices.
Becerril is a counter tenor (not a very good one) Radu Marian is a soprano!

This is completely inaccurate. In fact, the opposite is true of the castrato voice.
