I certainly loved it! My only bit of feedback/criticism is the running animation being too light, strongly recommend future animations of mega theropods to be reduced in speed and add more weight to the movement, prehistoric planets t rex would be a good analogue for this for example or the Daspletosaurus from Dinosaur planets "little das hunt" episode. I do think also a bit of reference from birds and possibly some lizards like monitors may also help with the movement in other animations outside of running (roadrunners hunting, ratite birds, agamas and monitors inspecting things/keeping a look out.) All in all, great animation and I hope this feedback helps you in future projects, keep up the good work! 😊💜
Good job. 👏 The Giganotosaurus model is excellent and I'm glad they added feathers at least in the initial stage of its development. And the sense of motherhood/fatherhood, just like many modern birds. The Andesaurus also look excellent and I give it another hit by emphasizing how dangerous adults can be. My only problem was the confrontation with the Andesaurus: okay, the female Giga was desperate for not having had any luck in hunting and/or finding food to feed her offspring and herself, but facing a Sauropod instead of attacking it unawares is something that no predator would be so foolish as to risk doing. I think she could have attacked it by surprise, but being an adult specimen and trying to hunt it alone, the Andesaurus would still push her to the ground to crush her right away. Apart from that, it's a good job.
Good to finally have a Giga depiction where it ACTUALLY HUNTS LIKE A PREDATOR instead of the “bite and wait” BS based on false ideas about modern analogues.
@@rodrigopinto6676 if ya wanna keep riding rex meat i swear , giga was better adapted to hunting sauropods and the animals in it's environment while vice versa being true for rex. You seriously can’t be complaining about how a fictional movie made for entertainment that has had inaccurate models since 1993 is worst than an educational video.
Ngl they could use evolution's giga or just stick like the dominion giga with the more accurate body shape with the bigger head shorter neck and the giga chin. The JWD giga looks more like an oversized acrocanthosaurus.
This is really nice. Great models and solid animation. However, I’m not sure why the Giganotosaurus was animated so quickly here 6:25. It looks like it’s going 100mph, literally. This short is really high quality, but it should not be going that fast haha. Caught me off guard when I first saw it.
I wish we could get more depictions of environments like the Candeleros formation as besides Giganotosaurus they were a lot of other fascinating creatures that they lived alongside. one animal that I think deserves more attention is Priosphenodon due to it being a relative to a creature often considered a living fossil that being the modern-day Tuatara.
You guys did this so well! The behaviours, the lipped jaws, the feathers on the juveniles, cannabalism etc. I would love to see a short film on the ornithischian dinosaur Kulindadromeus. Plant eating dinosaurs don't get as much attention sadly.

And also Quetzalcoatlus & Deinosuchus to represent two different distinct types of archosaurs that are related to dinosaurs.
@@Krati2811Correction, the fossil reclassified as a turtle’s plastron was once thought to be the Dakotaraptor’s wishbone. However there is still plenty of evidence that a large maniraptorid did live in the Hell Creek Formation
There is already a video about the spinosaurus and the tyrannosaurus (it is in the process of being translated), they should probably be released soon as well as the full giga video
The only things I didn't like were some of the walking animations, the fact that a Giga runs towards the front of a sauropod (it could have attacked from behind) and that at 2:36 you can see that the shadow of the pterosaurs is not to scale (basically you can tell they only made a mini map) but on the other hand I loved the closeups of the babies and animals in general or how the Giga ran.
