- MOMENT Ukrainian special forces destroyed a car containing Russian troops during a close combat gun battle.
The footage shows special forces soldiers exchanging fire with Russian troops in a forested area before they rush forwards and appear to take out a car on a road containing Russian soldiers.
The images then show the car upside down with smoke emanating from it after it reportedly exploded before the Ukrainian troops head back into the forest as the footage ends.

If you look at the grass around those two it seems the recovery vehicle hit the mine and both were abandoned
You look at teh field and you see it covered in craters more likely the recovery vehicle just happened to park on one, and teh crews ran for cover after hearing or seeing the drone knowing what was going to happen.
wasnt hit by mines was hit by artilery
Hopefully the crew didn't die in either event. Hopefully they realize the error of their ways and run home.

My thoughts go out to all the young men and innocent civilians who have perished in this war instigated by a power hungry dictator. It didn't have to be this way.
Tens of thousands have already died for the dreams of one old man becoming the next Tsar of Russia.
I remembered national geographic's documentary circa 2004-2005 about young russians training everyday like in some kind of paramilitary groups. They knew what they're doing. Putin has been prepared them decades ago. They're not innocent. Even their family asking souvenirs from ukraine.

It's clearly an exercise for training drone operators
Seems like it. The area/road shown at 0:48 even reminds me of a video about artillery shelling a russian tank-convoy.
Not saying that it is the same spot, but it is likely that they brought the tank to a already shelled area to train the drone operators.
LOL are u stupid do u see all the holes in the ground the whole area was being hit by artilery there was fighting going on there
This. It's clearly a range. That whole area has dozens of artillery impact sites. That first munition dropped threw the hatch would not have instantly killed people inside the tank. They would have been seen climbing out (or at least trying to) if there were people in it.
You can calls it what ever you want, one less Russian tank is a good thing.
@@mrm1885 Your tax money is paying for that….
A war that could have been avoided, easily.
Wasted ordinance. Blowing up a disabled tank that's already hooked up to a recovery vehicle and the hatches are open on both vehicles and there is no human activity around leads me to believe that these vehicles have been abandoned and could have been captured for use by the Ukrainian army.
Might be that the tank was behind enemy lines or someway other inaccessible to the Ukrainians. I don't believe that they wouldn't take a completely fine tank and a recovery vehicle.
AP ammo cant damaged so much a tank too. It might be repairable, once the human mulch is out.
The risk that Russians could use it again is greater than its being captured by UKR forces since it’s hooked up on a Russian recovery vehicle (and Ukrainians troops are likely far away). Tactically it makes more sense to destroy it then hoping you can capture it.
@@kettelbe What mulch? There were NO humans inside or near the tank! As already mentioned, these vehicles were more than likely abandoned.
@@G4x5da Also, the small ordnance won't make the tank useless, and it still can be fixed, so that if Ukrainians capture it, they may fix and use it. It just prevents the Russians from driving it away and/or fighting with it.

Now our land looks like this everywhere in the regions where there are active hostilities =(
Yep, there is no enemy.
At the beginning of the war, videos like these seemed like novelties, illustrating a kind of guerrilla-like resistance from Ukrainians. Now, thanks to the courage and skill of the Ukrainian military and the weapons provided by the west, these videos seem ubiquitous and a small part of a much larger conflict. Keep them coming!
This war started because of the west. Have a look at Nato military bases completely surrounding Russia aggressively. We agreed with the Soviet Union we wouldn’t expand in the east yet we broke that deal & did. Russia feels threatened. 26 million Russians died to free Europe from German oppression don’t forget so you can understand why they feel it’s important they secure their borders.
@@2sqnbandit379 This war started because of Russia. Have a look at the Russian garrisons and staging grounds that surrounded Ukraine aggressively for months. I see Russia subscribes to the classic “invade a country before they invade me” kinda mindset.
@@BullGator-kd6ge look at the garrisons in Eastern Europe. Serbia, Poland Latvia etc. turkey nukes.
@@2sqnbandit379 What else is new? We’ve had weapons pointed at Russia for decades and vice versa. Perhaps if Russia had more diplomatic and cordial relations with its former Soviet blocs, they wouldn’t all be scrambling to join NATO or reinforce it.
@@BullGator-kd6ge I used to think the same until I researched it. Russia wanted to align itself with the west, they actually applied to join NATO themselves, but were refused. We made an enemy out of Russia. I served in the military myself in the 90s. We were in Bosnia, Serbia, exercises in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia. Kosovo, Georgia. A huge build up of military assets since the fall of the USSR. Nukes were installed in Turkey. All bordering Russia. It’s extremely aggressive tactics by NATO that has completely surrounded Russia with military hardware on a huge scale since the fall of communism. Why? The Cold War was over. It was Ukraine using British & American rocket artillery on that nuclear power plant not Russia aswell and it was proven. Ukraine is the most corrupt country in Europe, it’s a wash with propaganda & they have been literally selling American tax payers Aid on the black market in the train load. Yes that must be devastating for those 2 abandoned tanks.

No one died here. Target practice with abandoned equipment. Calibrating the drones. My heart is with Ukraine all the way.
@Angry Combat Wombat Too dangerous to send in troops to inspect the tanks due to the possibility of booby traps.... better to do a bit of target practice for the drone operators.
Nobody died, they were abandoned.
I agree they're abandoned. Still its lively watching them be destroyed. Did you see the large secondary explosion at 0:42? Maybe theyre in an anti tank minefield?
Its a training drill or that drone would be shoot down by static flax which is 1000 little bombs that clust on drone movement 1 at that speed would not get near any vichel.
That's impressive dropping it straight down the hatch
(0:47) I love these videos that show precision hits, then pull out and show you the 5,000 misses.
Probably attempted recovery by the BREM-1, it's hard to tell but the side shot makes it seem like the T-80BV might be missing a track, and the ground is torn up along the route the BREM would have pulled it. Tow cables can be seen attached to the hitches on both of the vehicle rears. It appears the engineering crew abandoned their vehicle as a result of a near-miss artillery round or hitting an anti-tank mine, as the side shot shows a roadwheel is missing and there are obvious indications of some kind of explosion near or underneath the vehicle before the drone attack.

Just so you know, the Ukrainians oppress the national minorities living there.
In WW II the British called the under armored, under gunned Sherman' tanks, "Tommy Cookers". The Russians have obviously produced tanks that are literally "Ivan Cookers".
I thought it was the Germans who christened them by that name? The Americans called them Ronson Lighters - one strike and they light.
@@johndavies1090 The Ronson bit is an oft repeated Myth... that commercial tag line wasn't invented until after WWII! Check the Chieftains great lecture on Sherman myths for more information.
The problems with the Sherman was actually down to poor operational management with rounds inside the turret. They were left exposed inside the turret so a penetration of the turret would set them off. Once this was understood and steps taken to deal with it greatly reduced the chance of a fire in the Sherman tank.
With Russian tanks the placing of the rounds for the autoloader means that they are exposed and subject to all of them exploding.
Tye Sherman tanks where not under armored or under gunned in the pacific, they just had poor placement of ammo, they then moved the ammo to the floor and dipped it in fluid, this bought the tank down to a 10% burn rate vs 50%, this also made it less flammable than German tanks. Older Sherman was only a bit more flammable than a mark 4 panzer.

@@Artaslove true that, media is afraid to show it and people believe ukraine army is a undefeated army
The description of this video seems to accidentally be the description of different footage.
In any case, since there are some craters near those vehicles, it's likely that artillery or drone fire preceding this video made the Russian crews flee in a hurry, which also explains why the hatches were left perfectly open. That means that Ukrainians either decided to give new drone operators a chance to practice, or the Ukrainian unit knew there were more Russian units in the area and decided to destroy both vehicles to minimize Russian recovery options.
