There needs to be a mandatory age at which they start testing people every year, in order to keep their drivers license. If you can be too young to drive , you can be too old to drive

Too true. I was nervous about that conversation with my mom because she was always so independent. I was thrilled to find out she LOVED being driven around, and looking out the window and talking about all the sights she saw. When I noticed how much she looked around I said, "You know what mom, you've been working, and driving all over the place doing business you're whole life. I think you should let me drive you in your car--youve earned the right to relax and see the sights, let me do all the work." I think maybe by making it sound like she was denying a pleasure to herself, made easier for her to make that decision...miss you mom❤️

No one was harmed, no property was damaged, and some shoppers got a great story to share on the social media. You’d better hope the jurors that sit in judgment of you in a future trial have more compassion than you do. I’ve spent about 24 years writing laws at the state and federal levels, and am married to an attorney, so believe me when I say this: everyone, you included, has broken the law at some point in their lifetime. It’s just a question of getting caught and having a prosecutor who decides to go after you.

This is why old drivers should have higher insurance premiums, not younger ones.

Older drivers overall are much better then younger drivers. They drive slower to compensate. About the only time older drivers have a problem is at the end when they start to lose it. But statistically that is a much lower percentage then younger drivers who cause all kinds of havoc with DUI, aggressive driving, so one and so forth. Older drivers are way beyond that nonsense.

When people who become disabled after getting a license do things like this, they are basically admitting that they don't have any situational awareness, and are just knowingly endangering the people around them.

As someone who lives in another 1st world country, the part when the mall worker casually mentioned that her mall has had a mass shooting incident in the past is unnerving and disturbing.
    The U.S. is something else.

It's NOT the same place I left in 1978. It's like watching your older brother and over achiever becoming a meth addict, then doing Krocodile and finishing the job. It's a form of suicide? I can't IMAGINE in Canada my neighbour, an undiagnosed alcoholic wife beating bi-polar check bouncing POS thinking he had the "Right" to unlimited AMMO.

We're so jaded from shootings that the lady says this is crazier than the shooting she has experienced before.
