It’s giving professional weed grower energy 😂 I don’t partake myself, but from what I’ve seen after getting to know growers, they really know how to optimize and maximize! I take some notes, but I’m personally happiest with my plant endeavors when I don’t have to dial in things quite so much. Of course, that means I’ll never have the same output and business level! I appreciate the skill and dedication though 😊
@@prettyingreen that doesn’t necessarily mean YOU will be the face of it tho! 😭 You are part of the reason I love it here! I hope you didn’t sell it? 🥺
i feel like this video is made very transparently and fairly. a lot of these “secrets” are known in the growing world. this is all just tips for people to be able to grow plants commercially. for example growers use a 20-20-20 fertilizer while someone like me prefers to use 13-13-13. the more you push a plant the more the cells stretch and leads to an overall weaker plant. that’s why the majority of us have no need to use a stronger fertilizer for example. i understand where the criticism comes from because people don’t understand that there’s a big differences in growing plants because you enjoy it and growing plants for profit. i feel like if you started the video explaining this more people would understand
Yeeeesssssss! Im so psyched for more growing content! Your “how to” video series from a couple years ago is really what got me over the hump from a booger thumb to green thumb in a major way. Once I find my laptop I can’t wait to sign up for this! I decided the other day (since my truck won’t fit in the garage of my new house 😂) to renovate the garage into a full on growing space. Timing is amazing 💚
Without giving away your recipe, is the ppm as high as we use with cannabis? I usually try to match PPFD with CO2ppm on all plants i grow. Are you in the same vicinity?
Out of respect for your trade, I won't spoil your ''secret'' rooting technique but anybody with some knowledge can make an educated guess as to what it is from this video. Tbh, I'm not a fan of gatekeeping and those ''secrets'' are readily available elsewhere. Love the idea of moving grow lights and to seal the whole area using greenhouse wares though. I think that any plastic would have been ok but I guess that you took one that was treated to prevent water condensation in order to limit mold and algae buildup. Wish I owned a house so I could make a more ambitious setup than grow tents and prop bins.
That is so thoughtful of you not to spoil the secret. Very demure. I wonder if you gathered all this knowledge from tinkering with your prop bins and little grow tents.
I came here to same something similar about the information is out there, charging people is a bit odd.. but to each their own I suppose. Never needed half of this stuff to root and prop monstera or any of the plants. Some of this stuff may make things grow faster .. but over all I'd be interested to see someone test to see how big of a difference it all really makes. Wonder if someone can propose the idea to that one guy who likes to run tests to see what method roots things faster. I kinda feel like showing all this stuff off is a bit of gatekeeping.. but it's a business just like any other.
@@manuelavonwitte I started growing medical cannabis during lockdown and did a ton of research with my free time and eventually got into a horticulture program and started collecting tropical plants at that point (also stopped growing cannabis as I don't use that much lol). I'm only 4 years into my plant journey but I have no life and spend too much time online, so I've been exposed to a lot of stuff but have still much to learn and to experiment with for myself.
@@Roseles89 For the record, I'm not against a content creator charging for extra content, especially if it's well crafted and actionable, there a lot of cannabis and mushroom growers doing this to mentor new growers and it seems to be a good model. As you point out, the information is out there but aggregating that info and testing it isn't for everyone and it's also time consuming, so I do see value in someone doing this for others, it's just that I'm more of an open-source kind of guy.

Awesome info. Thanks for sharing the secrets! Not an easy thing to do when your running a business.
wow thanks king thats amazing. I just cut mine up and place them in leca in a south facing window of my guest room
That’s very cool, the CO2 thing! Planted aquarium folks inject CO2 a lot as well.
That's interesting about the CO2, since some aquarium plants do much better with CO2 as well.

😆I like the post edits - you're such a tease! But I have a Dutch Aquascape so I may already know all the tea.
The propagation stuff is something we came up with on our own! I promise it’s worth it!
