I've been working on tying the best crappie fly ever on my channel, with my subscribers. I did not think of a form of wooly bugger. Nice crappie, thanks for the video.
Good job Wendy. Take in line BELOW your index finger, not losing contact with line. Fight the fish from the line and not the reel, unless it's exceptionally large.
I love crystal buggers! That almost all I fish on still water and I really like to fish two at a time. I sell some really good ones in my Etsy store that I have all the confidence in the world in! I like to stick to natural colors like white, black, and olive but I’m slowly venturing into attractor colors like chartreuse. If bass fishers swear by “if it ain’t chartreuse, it ain’t no use” then maybe I need to get on board with that idea!
@@joshsamuelson1793 I tie a wooly bugger with a complex twist. It has white crystal chenille, some uv fibers, and chartreuse schlappen. It is a great spring pattern for largemouth around here in Missouri.
This is the reason I love fly fishing, multispecies on the same fly. And the fight on a fly rod is unbelievable. Great video, Tham you.
Thank you very much and I completely agree!
Happy to see you do something you love

Ever try a Crystal bugger? I got some chartreuse ones the other day. Just have to get out there and throw one.

I like chartreuse as I came from reel fishing. I also know that my fly has come off when I can't see it. Lol

Nothing like fishing a good pond.
You got that right! Many times I have realized that I'm not that good of a fisherman, I just get to fish really good spots!
