I have used t212 card over 1 month and i am very happy. If i get dividends on t212 i can use this money for buy on shop. I hope cashback will be 1-1.5% not going to 0.5%. Greetings from Estonia
So when you pay with the trading 212 card the money that they use comes from the money that is not invested (and that is gaining intrest) but don’t we have to pay taxes on the intrfest money to use it?
Might be missing something crucial but wouldn’t it be quite complicated to use t212 card because every euro you hold there is a tax event (I think) so you never really know how much you can spend. Same if you hold your savings account there and suddenly need the money and spend it all, wouldn’t you go in debt?
Hi 👋 If you’re in Europe, investing in VUAA (EUR) makes sense if your account is in euros to avoid forex fees. However, the fund’s performance depends on the USD since the S&P 500 is dollar-based. Choose USD if you expect the euro to weaken against the dollar, but stick with EUR for simplicity and fewer currency conversion costs. Cheers
@@SmartMoneywithKai do you think VWCE would be better instead of VUAA as we speak for all world? I saw that also the expense ratio is higher. ( 0.22 vs 0.07 vuaa has)
Hello Kai great videos as always. Question for Trading 212. If I wish to move my stocks etc in the future because I might not feel confident with the platform is that an easy option with them?
I find it unacceptable that on Trading 212, investor funds within the EU are entrusted to a Cyprus-based entity under the oversight of CySEC. I have no confidence in the regulatory system of Cyprus and consider this arrangement highly questionable.
Dont use Trading 212 .. It's as simple as that . I have been with Trading 212 about 15 years now and never had a problem. Good bye , dont forget to close the door behind you 👍👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🖐🖐🖐👋👋👋👟
It's still Trading 212. IBKR was regulated in Hungary, but they still remain a US broker, not Hungarian. Hope people realise now how stupid Brexit was.

1.5% is too good to be true. I doubt they will continue offering that.

A taxable event is if you sell a stock.... Holding CASH then spending CASH is not a taxbl3 event
@ But holding money gains interest which is taxable event no?
Which platform is the best for a new invester from slovenia to star Ibkr or trading 212
T212 je cenejši za vsak nakup in še obresti na denar so super. Trading 212 je itak vezan na IBKR, tako da je vseeno na koncu.
For beginners would recommend to go with T212, easier, cheaper and higher interest on uninvested cash 👌

I want to invest to Vuaa and i am in Europe. Its better to invest in Euros or Dollars? Because of the equivalent of the euro and dollar

They support transfer out, however, they don't support IBKR. Only selected brokers
Didn't Revolut get rid of the FX weekend fee even for the standard plan?
Newer the less exchange rate is worse than in wise or t212 (base plan)
@@MrHerych Exactly, they use "Revolut rate" which is inflated with embeded hidden fees. T212 gives you the true interbank rate.
Sadly seems not, and T212 exchange rate now seems superior to Revolut in most cases.
@@SmartMoneywithKai T212 it def is from now on!
Do you or would ypu get your wages paid into trading 212
I don't as I run my own business, but you could 👌
Im surprised it's a Mastercard. Can you use it as travel insurance?
They don't offer that for now, might want to look into Revolut for that.

Cyprus is pretty solid, and also under the EU regulatory system. Even revolut is moving to cyprus.
@@Antros23 Cyprus lacks stability and has a notoriously weak regulatory framework, which is why it has become a hub for numerous shady companies.
