This is not "habal-habal". The word habal refers to the mating act usually of a male pig behind a female pig. "Habal-habal" are the motorcycle taxi's where a passenger is the back-rider and repeating the word 'habal' means like imitating the mating act. This is actually what they call "skylab". Why? Skylab before it crashed into the ocean, had solar panels like flaps on its sides. This here, the motorcycle has seating structures on its sides making it look similar to the skylab. These are commonly found in the Agusan area of Mindanao in the Philippines. Not really very common in the Philippines. Of course they have very practical reasons for this: one, it's very cost effective, two, it can go where tricycles/tuk-tuks have a hard time going through rough roads like that at 4:25, three, it can even go through pathways too narrow for three or four wheeled vehicles. Of course the people are already experts on riding this. Notice how they all hop in at the same time at 3:38 and hop off at the same time on 5:46. Yes it can be very dangerous if even only one of of the passengers panic and jumps off. Incredible but true. Great content, thanks for the video.
